Whats OK to have in my spray bottle for daily misting??? first grow :)

Using RO water now. And I know I need to add cal-mag, and i've been using some Diamond Necter, anything else I should be adding to RO water?
And also is all that stuff OK to have in my spray bottle for daily misting? If not, what should I make sure NOT to have in my spray bottle? ALL RESPONSES ARE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.:weed::weed:

i just added some worm casting tea to my misting bottle for the first time.. i've never tried any form of misting before this, but they seem to be like liking the worm poo i've been giving them, really seems to be bringing out the green in the plants..

I like to mix up a pot of green tea, then let it cool, put it in my spray bottle and cover the foilage of the plants with it, its their little treat. Ive heard that it makes the plant more resiliant to pests, and funguses and hell, if green tea is so good for humans, theres definately gotta be some good nutrients for a marijuana plant. I personnally think it helps wonders on my seedlings before I can start ferting them. Happy toking.

i'd like to see some more responses to your thread as well as like i said, this is my first attempts at any foliar spraying, and i would like to know what everyone else who does it uses as well.. i'm always trying to learn some new ways to improve my grows, and this seems like a nice simple thing that anyone can do if they have the right brews..

Right now I've been doing ph'd water 6.5 for daily
another spray bottle with 6.5 water and lil blast of diamond nectar once a week (trying twice a week now) they REALLY seemed to react well to it the first few times. Now I dont see as much of a great reaction from them with that.

After researching I know now I need to add some things to my RO water... Does anyone know if it is OK to add cal-mag and superthrive to my foliar spray??? And what if anyone can tell me should NEVER be sprayed on foliage??

I add SuperThrive to my misting bottle and that is all. About 2-3 drops in a quart spray bottle. This way I can use the same bottle for veg plants, seedlings, clones, etc. I used to keep two spray bottles, one had ST and a weak nute solution, but that water was always turning cloudy and nasty before I could use it all.

Awesome! I was wondering if superthrive would be OK. If you dont mid me asking, I'm still trying to find out exactly what needs to be added to RO water. I THINK i should be adding some cal-mag right? anyting else you would know of? I would think that would also be ok to spray on the ladies but am not SURE by any means.... thanks again for responding!!

It depends on what nutrients you are using. I use the Flora Nova series and they add calcium and Mg. I rarely need to add them. I never foliar feed Cal-Mag, simply because Botanicare lists adding it to water to add to soil or reservoirs. A spraying application is not recommended by the manufacturer.

Seltzer water is best for that purpose, make sure it's low sodium. I used to foliar feed with seltzer, but to be honest, buds benefit most from co2 and you don't want to be spraying water on buds. You can mix sugar, water and yeast in a 2 liter coke bottle and attach an air line with small holes poked in it and you'll get better results than spraying.

Can you use club soda or tonic water?
I heard that is the same as giving them Co2

Ya thats kind of what I was thinking, the botlles do just say things about adding to soil or reseviors so... good call. I'm also using Flora Nova Grow, Bloom, and 1ml of floralicous (obvously not bloom yet) Ok so looks like I'm going to just stick with ph'd water and superthrive then the weekly spray with the diamond nectar for foliar.
So the Flora Nova nutes should have all the stuff i should need in that then right? as far as having to add cal-mag to the water? In that case for my WATER ill add some cal-mag the the RO.
