made a pasta seafood marinara/sour cream and chives pasta last night. nobody else liked seafood so i ate the whole lot, some for breakfast too.

I was just thinking the same thing. I know what a Dutch oven is and I certainly don't want my soup in one haha.

Yeah GWN I used a blender to puree the soup. Your recipe had a few things mine didn't. I'll see if I can dig it out.

Looks tasty Don. Fuk me yer a proper veg heid noo:)

Having roast chicken etc tonight. This morning I made scones and last night the wife made some Rocky road.

Will try pics later as upl9ad is not working for me at the min.

Hahah aye I'm having to supplement the extra veg with bacon sarnies.

Rocky road eh nice. I'm trying to lose a bit xmas podge atm.... no treats for me.

A dutch oven is an iron pot with a flat lid to campfire cook with.The flat lid holds coal on top so it acts as an oven.

A non-stick dutch would be ceramic coated iron,but nothing beats a well seasoned iron pot,pan or dutch oven.

I've been looking for a perfect sized iron pot to cook chili with but theyre all either too small or too big...i did see a ceramic coated 4qt one but they cost about $250!!! at crate and barrel or sonoma something or other

Cheers. Sounds like a Potje pronounced Poy-kee which is a South African pot you use on an open fire....and follows from the Dutch thing as well. Non stick is for non pros lol:)
