What'cha Growin this Year?

I really let the season get too far underway before getting some plants going this year. I started my veggies almost 2 months ago but I just got my pot plants going yesterday. I planted 8 seeds from my own strain last year which were GSC and I have 1 Sweet Thai, 1 White Berry and 1 Snow White. What are the rest of you growing in your garden this year?

a whole bunch of pineapple chunk on my deck in 100 gallon smart pots.

i just hope the deck doesn't collapse.

The Purple Pineberry x S.A.G.E & Sour is a
super awesome strain if you have ever had it.

Both versions of Cherry Pie, GSC (thin mint)
& Blue Dream.

I might run some Chem4OG also to replace a couple strains I didn't like.

The same thing I grow every year.

I seed a few lowers every year on plants with traits I like. Seed come out of 2 different batches, one set of seeds is from a "first gen" that I keep (lemon skunk x nl Crossed with seeds from "shit I used to smoke in high school" 20 years ago.

The second set of seeds is from the previous year crop.

I will cross a male from one set with the phenotypes that I like from the opposing set in an attempt to keep "purified" genetics.

As a home grower this is the closest I can come to backbreeding with an f1 genetics.

I call my strain "GIMBY" Grown In My Back Yard.

I had issues that caused me to start a bit late, so I bought clones. And I do love me some GSC! And I figured it was too late for seeds by a few weeks anyway. But I sure wanted to plant (actually I want to smoke...lol) some Cherry Pie. Oh well, maybe next season

Does it smell yummy?

Holy shitballs you guys are growing some awesome stuff!

1) SR-71 Purple Kush, Super strong medicine, on the top 3 list of the "stoniest weed ever smoked by me" and I'm over "half century" old. She offers challenges when growing that other strains don't, not for the beginner grower. Always gets great reviews from other members at our BBQ's, and deserves to be at the top of the list.


2) Mad Purps, I've been smoking this strain for 16 years now and always delivers great flavor and a nice "evening" high. Hard to get things done when smoked during the day. Mad Purps was crossed with the SR-71 male.



3) Orange O,G, X SR-71 PK, Huge yielder here, super strong smoke with hints of citrus. This girl went from "just making the show" last year to a top 3 in the garden. Strong high, strong flavor, all around nice strain. Orange O.G. X Chem Valley Kush from Wheezer at the 1st BBQ was crossed with my SR-71 male.


4) Grand Master (GDP x Master Kush), Great bag appeal, very "orange" in color, strong effects and nice on the flavor pallet. This was gifted to me by another member at the 1st BBQ, and crossed with the SR-71 PK male.


5) Medijuana, This strain in an early finisher from a member we lost in 2014...Hodgegrown. This was one of his favorites that I tried a few year back to grow, but without success (flowered early). This year she'll be kept under a light outdoors until June 21st.
