I got my sellers permit, my articles of incorporation, my weedmaps icon and quite a bit of cannabis. I have been delivering for over a month, but I see on weedmaps that some of the other delivery services offer credit card payments. I was wondering if there is a better processor for MMJ businesses. One of my colleagues is using paypal, but I don't like the percentages. I Costco is offering $0.19 per charge and 2%. I was wondering if anyone is using Merchants, Creditcardprocessing.com, Cayan or Leader's Merchant. Their claiming that they will do .35% charges. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with any of those processors. My documentation says we are a botanical remedy delivery service. Is there some script or key words that I'm supposed to use? My friend that has been in the delivery service for a few more months than I have, says you have to be very careful when talking to banks. Just the mention of the term cannabis, and they will stop the paperwork and not deal with you. I tried to get a bank account for my company, and I have a few more hoops to jump through, but my lawyer says we should have all of the paperwork to get an account next week. I would like to know what credit card processor gives cannabis businesses a good deal.
