Things are not looking too good with my lowryder grow, there 2 days into being planted now and nothing but that's ok that's not what's worrying me. I had to water them last night cos the soil was way too dry i only gave them like a spoonfull of water each. But after just checking them the soil is dry again! and i mean dry it's all crumbling! Do i water them again or not? There in peat pots so maybe if i just dipped the pots in some water? Any advice anyone cos i don't know what to do! Maybe i have my lights too close? but they are 3inches away from the pots, and temps are at 80 at the moment. I dunno what to do advice please? Thanks.

forget amounts. Water until there is a good bit of runoff, wait 5 minutes and do it again, don't worry about overwatering, make sure the soil is thoroughly soaked.

I remember having this worry with my plants.
3 out of 5 came through, two are lost in a few lbs of soil.
Anyways, Just be patient.
