What the heck happened to them?

Oh boy. Things were going so well.

I'm running 18/6 lighting
Temp 22-25 deg celcius
55-65 humidity

I was watering when the pots were light. Never over watering imo.

Today I looked and they were not looking happy. Looked a little wilted and sure enough they needed some h20. But looked yellowish. I did some research and believed possible nitrogen deficiency. So I checked my water PH akd it was at like 8!!!!!!! I previously tested and it was 6.7 (within tolerance)

So I pulled out a bottle of distilled and (7ph) and dropped it down to 6.5. And gave them a good watering before lights out this morning. I just came back to check and man they dont look good at all.

Help please!! Il be choked if I gotta start new seeds.

They are about 20 days old now. I have them in organoc seed startee mix so that makes sense that they used all the nutes from the soil.

I did topdress with a pinch of gaia 4-4-4 when I watered.

I was going to transplant to some 5gal pots next week where they will stay until harvest (that was the plan anyway)

If it's a PH issue, you're not going to see immediate results. It'll be several days to a week. You don't say how old they are, or what they're planted in. The seed starter may have run out of nutes, so I'd feed lightly next watering and see how they do.

Oops forgot to add that info

Your little ones, to me, look hungry. Very hungry. Good move throwing something down for them to eat. My suggestion would be hit them with Recharge, get those microbes working for you. Also this stems are saying they're mag deficient. Epsom salts or some cal-mag to help with the purple stems.

Great thanks, I'll grab some.cal mag tomorrow and supplement next watering in a few days. I can't get recharge up here in Canada, but I'll look for an alternative.

I'm transplanting into some ocean forest next week. I am concerned they may not respond well with their current condition. But I guess the extra nutes could help also.

If you're going into Ocean Forest, I would hold off on the nutes until they've been in the new soil a week or so. Ocean Forest has enough nutes for a couple weeks, easy.

Roger that! I'll leave em alone now and transplant them probably Monday. I have some mycorrhizae for the transplant.

I'll gather the extras anyway for later. This list is getting longer and longer.

Rock dust blend and gypsum, Epsom and mykos and EWC should round out my additions to the 4-4-4 from my afternoon of research. Based on shadeds method.

Maybe I'm over complicating this lol

Perhaps it is lack of food in that soil... I'll get em caught up if that's the case.

Once transplanted, I'll stsrt my next set

They seem to be looking a little happier now they have been transplanted. They're in ffof - so in i guess 3 weeks illl stert to add some Gaia 4-4-4 and hopefully they will start to grow!!
