I heard if you cook the canna butter higher than a certain temp it burns of the THC and ruins it. I thought I remember it being 150 F or something. . . any clarification would be +rep'd
what temp to make canna butter?

Dr Jay used a crock pot for Black Out Bud Butter, so he's keeping things below 212F. A lot of us boil our cannabutter so that's around 212F as well. His recipe for Basic Bud Brownies cooks at 350F, so keep it below there for sure. I always use a thermometer when I cook at high temperatures, the oven dial is not accurate.

you can calibrate your oven though, like if you do want it to be accurate? so, to be just like the pros, put an oven thermometer in your oven and turn it on to say 300, wait until the burner shuts off (gas, listen to hiss stopping, electric listen to thermostat click off). loosen the small set screw on the oven knob, then set the knob temp to what the oven thermometer says, tighten set screw.
