Greenhouse seeds Pure Kush...It's a OG Kush phenotype we selected, with a special pinkish hue on the calyx and hairs, a truly pretty lady. Short, branchy plant. It's a good plant for SCRoG (growing through a net). It has a very nutty, sweet flavor, and a stoned couch-locking effect with a narcotic side to it. Medicinally effective in pain therapy. It is a good plant for beginners.
Flowering Time: 9 weeks with a yield of 900 gr/m2. If outdoor- early Oct, up to 900 gr/plant.

THC 19.5%
CBD 0.3
CBN 0.25%

i believe you have your terms confused....stinky pinky has pink stigmas which are the hairs..something like plushberry has actual pink pistils. understand though that any strain with pink stigmas (hairs) will still lose that color and turn brown/orange like any other plant.

you know ive actually been really confused about this because everything i have ever read says that the hairs are pistils and that stigma is The receptive apex of the pistil of a flower so wouldnt the pistils have stigma on them as opposed to it being one or the other? unless you count the calyx as part of the pistil (i dont know who does that) wouldnt the entire pistil of the cannabis plant be the stigma? and if so why even mention it? and thaanks for lookin out for me amigo but im aware.

!!!!!

You need to read the cannabis culture article about color in marijuana. i believe the article is by Kat. and feartures VISC in the article.

they explain how their strain "Fucking Incredible" will almost always have pink pistils if you run at the PH that they listed in the article.

Pink pistils is more or less just a very uncommon thing. but i do agree certain strains are more prone to it.

i never knew Sour D was one, that must be why my casey jones had pink pistils.

HOWEVER... usually the finished buds will have purple-ish hairs where they once where pink before being cut and dried. and alot of times pink haired plants finish with brown/orange/red hairs as they mature and only show the pink temporarily.

I just checked and here are the specific botanical definitions:

Pistil = Entire female part of flower (aka "gynoecium") . In the case of cannabis, the pistil includes both the stigma AND calyx (see below).

Stigma = pollen-receptive part of pistil. In the case of cannabis plants, this is the "hair" that people talk about, that changes color usually to orange or brown late in flowering. By convention, most people in the cannabis community incorrectly refer to the stigma as "pistil", and I've been guilty of this myself.

Calyx = outermost leafy part of female flower. This is the "good" part that's covered with trichromes.

You can click on this link for a picture of a plant with pink hairs (stamens): http://www.420magazine.com/gallery/data/500/10-8-09_015.jpg

I've never seen a cannabis plant with a true pink calyx though I'm not saying they don't exist.

On the other hand, some of the "purple" strains can make a bright light purple that could be considered pink, depending on lighting, and what you're willing to call pink, and I've seen plenty like that: http://forum.grasscity.com/photopost/data/500/medium/IMG_2384a.jpg

ok the calyx is the part that opens up and in which many pistils emerge each pistil is made up of the base which contains the ovules and placenta and a style which is the tube shaped hair and stigmas which are inlets into the hairs and normally at the very tip of the style but in cannabis its a bit confusing since their are multiple points up and down the style with stigmas...so the whole bit of green and the hairs together are what a pistil actually is..so the common way people try to differentiate is by calling the green part a pistil and the hairs stigmas even though the whole thing is a pistil together.....i guess i should have said....stinky pinky has pink styles and plushberry has a pink pistil toward the base but the styles stay white....but to try to make it easier to understand i in effect made confusion....TIS CONFUSION!! (impractical jokers :D ) ...hope this kind of makes more sense the problem comes in that people dont use correct terms and im guilty of that as well just assuming people know what i mean by pistil even though its all a pistil! like a pizza is a pizza but it has toppings and sauceyou can call it a sausage pizza but really its a sausage topped pizza....ive been drinking i hope im not just causing more confusion here lol

bract, calyx, and pistil....parts of the female flower. some people say that a stigma and a pistil are the same... theyre not... a stigma contains the ovule in any flower that has a stigma.. the ovule of a cannabis flower is in the calyx

just for accuracy and posterity....the parts of the female cannabis flower are: bract, calyx, and pistil.:weed:
