What strain can offer me the best sativa dominant pheno to keep for ever?

Which strain would be the best to put in the closet as a keeper?

For the time being Im thinking to order: Sannie's Jack and Female Seeds' C99, which Ive found some promising grow reports about, since you had it suggested here. Was also planning to play a Mr Nice strain, his most promising ones are just really expensive... Was looking for the SSH, but recent reports testify to an indica high, or at least partially. And I dont want that, much less with that cost and flowering time. then I looked at the Mango Haze, also really expensive, so I dont really know. I think either the mango haze, or the two other ones. If only I could redo the poll and keep the thread going.

Some great suggestions up in here.

Regarding Kali Mist..... I wouldn't do it. I grew out Kali Mist years ago from their original cross and it was fantastic. Everything you look for in a top shelf sativa. They decided to cross it to an Afghani about 10 years ago and ever since the strain hasn't been the same. I lost my original mother in a flood and immediately ordered another pack...... which wasn't anything like I was used to. Too much Indica influence now. Supposedly Sagarmatha Western Winds is the real deal Kali Mist genetics circa 2000. Might want to cjheck them out instead if Kali Mist is on your radar. I've heard that the fem version is a better representation of Kali Mist than the reg beans are.

I also agree with the Female Seeds C-99 suggestions. I have grown out several of those and they are great. Easy to grow, done in 7 weeks, great pineapple smell, and nice smoke. Not great smoke (some Indica in there) but still very nice.

Mr Nice Mango Haze is also another nice one that I've grown. My keeper took about 14 weeks to finish, but it was fantastic smoke and a big yield.
I think what you're saying is documented but I've also read (on the Serious Seeds' site) that they went back to the original 'recipe' as there were complaints about the reformulation you speak of.

Here is my Kali Mist lady that I found in a pack a few years ago. Clear and energizing with zero comedown or paranoia.

Ahhh, good to know. I kinda moved on from Serious Seeds after trying Kali Mist again and being let down by their Bubblegum. Might have to order another pack of the Kali Mist and see what's up

That is one crazy bud! Looks nothing like their photo at Serious Seeds. Perhaps then: Kali Mist, C99 and Jack, if I can afford it. Id rather go for quality if you guys can vouch for the Kali Mist. Sounds awesome. Really looking forward to getting this grow going, when April finishes. Unfortunately I cant start it before, and thats why I took this time to investigate with you guys! Again, thanks a lot for all the participation and knowledge you bring to the thread.

That's a macro pic of a foxtail from a dried flower. I believe they only have live plant shots on their site. IMO, if Serious Seeds is known for anything, it's that you will find the plants that you paid for. There wont be any pheno hunting to find the plants advertised on their site. That being said, Kali Mist is not that easy to grow. My plant flowers for 100-110 days (15 weeks). She gets lanky and tall and the weight of the flowers will have her leaning every-which-way in your garden. Depending on your skill level, you might get better results growing something that doesn't flower for so long.

Unless this was covered already, I would recommend shopping for a sativa based on the high. Some can be racy or trippy or induce lots of paranoia. Some folks like that whereas I prefer something more clear and social.

Cool stuff, then! It looks wet from all that dazzling trichomes. I dont think that Im a super grower, but so far I have concluded all that I started, although Ive only been growing for two years. I dont mind the 15 weeks flower time, at all. But that definitely means, that I will have to spice it up with some shorter flowering strains. Besides, if I want to get better, then I have to try a more advanced strain, so thats just fine. I grow hempy style now and measure everything with bluelab equipment, which I have grown really fond of. I have never smoked anything trippy. I would like to, though, just to try it, but I also prefer a clear, creative head high. That is a real pleasure to vape!

Mix that Female Seeds C-99 in there and you'll have some smoke while you're waiting for the Kali Mists to come down.

Here's a couple pics of the C-99 I grew recently..

Lovely foxtailing, Stow. Im pretty set on the Jack, C99 and KM. For now, Ill leave the Mr Nice and Bodhi for later, when I may have a chance to grow outside. I hope everything turns out fine. I have to place three separate orders, that sucks. Thanks, guys! :)

Go to mr nice's website bid on an auction.

Half price at most usually.

There are definitely some great plants to be found in peakseedsbc's Sweet Skunk. I am quite new to the sativa experience so take it with a grain of salt but I recently harvested some PSBC Sweet Skunk and man, one plant in particular(out of 5 or 6) has gotta be one of the best high's I've had in over a decade. The rest were nice but the one plant that took the longest (11 weeks) was just amazing. The price is right too if you have the room for a pheno hunt. When I have space for mothers and clones I'll definitely be doing a 100+ seed run of his Sweet Skunk to find some keepers.

You definitely got me interested in Sweet Skunk from all the talk of it lately. I rarely look at any other breeders lately but I think I am going to get a couple packs from them sometime this summer. I really want a good skunk and their prices seem to be great.

And I agree, that is a good choice on strains. Especially the C99!

Hey Stow, that is a beautiful plant, which company is that cindy from? Looks a little different then mine from FMS but could just be different phenos. My leafs were very close to the same though, very very narrow razor looking leaves on all of the ones I had.

and damn. I been sitting on a pack of Kali Mist reg's but I am straight up afraid of that flower time. You guys are making me really tempted to get some started in the corner while I have something faster going.

It's always interesting trying something new! Have you tried anything else from Peak Seeds? Their Blueberry has me interested too. I wish I could have a older DJ shorts blueberry.

I popped their blueberry gve plants to a buddy. He's harvesting this weekend. Will know more then. My understanding is it requires a bit of a hunt like always with Blueberry.

His Northern Lights is very much how I remember it. I didn't get a wow potent plant, but I suspect they are in there with hunting. D_Urbmon got a really nice looking specimen.

I ran his NL x TW outside and it's a real nice plant for outside around here. Good daytime smoke. Not something you'd run inside most likely but you could and it wouldn't be a total let down.

I haven't done his hybrids but I'd bet based on my experience with his IBLs that they are outstanding.

Thanks for the info. Any chance of getting some pics of the Blueberry's? I figured most of those would be all similar almost IBL especially the NL, and BB etc. So his phenos actually are fairly diverse? Honestly I like the hunt, I would rather have a more diverse line then one with little differences usually. Kinda like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.
