what poppy seeds?

hi all,
i have these poppy seeds and would like to know what type or what kind
are they? they are light in colour,
if anybody has a clue please let me and tell me hoe to grow it and what they will produce, someone said they where turkish ,whats that mean

i'm not sure what type you have. You can buy papaver somniferum, the opium poppy at walmart. McCormick sells them as a spice! The ones I have the seeds are dark almost black. But there is only one way to really find out if they are good!

i just want to know about these?

since they have that lighter tan color i would say they are indian

that looks more like mustard seeds. poppy seed tea tastes like shit but makes you feel pretty cooool

anyone know a tried and true brand of poppyseeds to make tea out of

those dont look like poppy seeds get a better pic

any brand works... its just how you make it

i heard some brand wash and steralize their seeds

you dont make tea from the seeds you use the whole flower head after the petals have fallen in england at the moment there all over the place better still cut the seed pod with a razer blade and the juice will flow when left to dry in the sun you have raw opium. but as with all things from the poppy go with care there are no bad drugs just people using them for bad ends.

yea i was thinking of getting a box of 200 dried heads to make a laudanum type tincture

just go to the grocery store and ask the people at the bakery to give u as many of the poppy seeds that they use for bread and begals as they can. thats what i did
