What part of the plant has the most thc?

like the topic say's "What part of the plant has the most thc" b/c a buddy of mine expirienced (yeah I know I spelled it wrong but anyway's)grower say's that it's the seed caseing that has the most not the acctual seed itself but the outer caseing.....anybody got anymore opinions?

what your buddy says would make sense if you are discussing seeds and not plants. the seed coat is in contact with the buds so i'm sure some THC would be absorbed.

no thc in either. thc only formed when plant is photosynthetic

Just picked up a fat sack of seed coats, lookin to get reeeeall ripped. Sorry to poke fun but the thought cracked me up.

a freind of mine used to go to a all boys boarding school back in highschool, and you know how dry those places are, long story short he and some freinds got a bag of seeds, packed it up and got pretty blazed, keep in mind they hadnt smoked in a month of sundays. so i guess there is a minute amount of thc

i think you are refering to calyxes. they are what the seed would be in if the pot were seeded. when not seeded it is full of plant matter. the outer suface of these "seed coats" are where the most thc trichromes will be consintrated(sp). the plant is attempting to protect it's seeds with a resin coating.

yes seed coats have the most resin. you should see if there is anything in one of the pockets.

Hmm, I believe seeds are legal here in Canada and I was under the understanding that the reason for this was because the seed itself contains no THC. You learn something new everyday... Peace.

Marijuana seed contains no thc, the trace amounts that could be on the shell of the seed would not be enough to get you high.
The calyx on the other hand(as already stated by fdd2blk) is loaded with THC.

i cant remember what its called but ill try and find the article i read ,but smoking seeds can cause a severe illness .

Hell im mental and I wouldn't smoke seeds... all thats going to do is give you a migrane! Just suck it up and be sober untill your harvest is compleate... peace

wouldnt the seeds explode once the fire gets to it....
