I would stop filing grievances lol. Obviously he is friends with the boss.

My hubby has a coworker who's wife died almost two years ago. From the day of her death he comes into work hungover/drunk. Reaks of booze. He shows up a few hours late every day or leaves a few hours early. Hardly does any work. Sometimes is seen drinking on job.

Not much you can do about it if the boss doesn't care.

Prove that black people didn't vote for obama because of skin color.
Prove that if a republican black person was running HEAD TO HEAD FOR PRESIDENT with a white person that black people wouldn't vote for the black candidate.

Really, by speaking up about it you are painting a big target on your back. If the boss is already aware of her actions, there is nothing that can be done.

I let her vent everyday about everything that goes on at her job. It makes her feel better and I don't have to deal with it later.

I personally don't agree with sanctions of any sort (sanctions are ways to impact a country economically, correct?) . So I don't really see that as a negative on his behalf.
