Some of you know.. i got this seed from a guy who had it stored proffessionally along with a few other seeds when he got back from war.

i forgot how old it was but it was years old.. i germinated it.. grew it well until i screwed up (my first grow) testing experimenting etc.. this was the only seed i had to practise with.

dont know what strain it is, or what type of weed it is.. eg: white widow etc.. who knows? maybe you do!?

ive thrown it out of the grow room and into the backyard and waited for it to die.. two months ago.. it was frozen.. didnt stop growing for 2months until now, just started comming back to life... ill still leave it outside due to the bugs attacking it but yeah.. any ideas? thinking about throwing it in the trash as i cant be bothered looking after it...

As you can tell; she has thinned out alot especially since i cut off most of the curly leaves and left it with nothing when i threw it outside.. she/he is a survivor.. and still vegging by the looks of it.? ..

lol yep.. maybe someone knows on here.. some guys on this forum are like a fuckn weed dictionary.
Nobody will know...the only thing you can tell is the dominant type of cannabis...This plant looks like a 50/50 hybrid...maybe leaning slightly on the sativa side by the looks of the leaves, but you damaged it severely, so that might be the reasoning behind the thin leaves :)

Just for those who will attempt to make guesses about the impossible to guess, how about a small clue to somewhat narrow down the time period? What; "war" had just been gotten back from?

I would take some clones off of that plant.
You could be sitting on a pure landrace strain not available thru seedbanks or anywhere else.
Even if it's male someone will be interested in that plant for breeding.
Probably came from Afghanistan or somewhere in that region.

Can you ask the guy where it came from?
If you have anymore of those seeds i have landrace Mexican sativas i got in Mex. and many good strains from seedbanks i would trade with you.
Dont thro it away if there was a way i could get that plant i would pay you for it or give you smoke & seeds.

I am looking for something special to cross with a red Oaxacan & a Guerreran gold.

Brick the leaves don't look like pure indica but its been abused.
It doesnt look like anything that would have come out of Nam,half my neighbor hood did time in nam and i've seen and smoked alot of weed from nam.

I spent 4rys in se asia thialand laos phillipines and it doesnt look like any thing from there.Tall lanky plants with very very thin leaves.

Now that i look again the leaves do look sativaish, get more info and if anybody can fig it out BT can.

Ok.. got the details after a long converstation on the phone...

head up guys next time you speak with a decorated war hero FROM BACK IN THE DAY; ask them to keep the story short lol.

VIETNAM WAR... 1945-1989 his father who also collected seeds when he was alive fought in the war in turkey also when australia and the brits was fighting turkey and lost.

he cant tell me which war its from though hes on medication and has memory problems.. thats the best info i could get on the background of the seed is that they came across an iscolated patch of field and collected some seeds to take back home; since then it was in cold storage.

here are three photos of it when it was in perfect health.

All i can say is when and before i stressed the plant (my first grow)

it had perfect internode distances; it grew very fast with big leaves as per the images and the it has 'MINTY' smell to it; even though it was in VEG.

Do you have anymore of the seeds left?
If you can get more from him i'll make it worth your while.

Where in Australia do you live?
I love that place,I spent time in West Aust. in Perth & Albany.I had a girlfriend their and almost moved to Albany to live.
I drank many gin squashes and stayed drunk off my ass with the rest of the Aussies when i was there.
Everyone was drinking Emu lager in the aluminium can.

You Aussies love your drink.
I didn't like vegamite but my girlfriends daughter loved it.Tasted like a chewed up 1 a day vitamin to me
Thanks for the info my friend

hAHAHAHAHA i live im from melbourne buddy! :)
Yeah aussies love to drink alright.. and alot but i can see a new trend; weed and its taking over fast :P

i got a few seeds from the guy but only 1 out of 5 germinated because of the age of the seeds. and he isnt willing to part with anymore since 'i screwed his one up' and he knows of it.
but live and learn! it was my first ever attempt and i did well until yeah. haha.
vegemite i eat that stuff everyday on toast haha i hated it but you get used to it..

i personally want to travel to america and make friends with 'THE STIFLER' from american pie.. were almost the same character haha

but anyways back to the job..

best i can do with this plant is take a clone... and grow it to full maturity and see what happens i guess.. but i aint got anymore room in my tent :(

Just keep it alive man see what happens!

Throw it in a big pot full of good soil, especially if you don't have cloning down, you should keep it alive til you get one rooted

Most people don't have access to genetics that old, could be something ya know?
