What is this def.

Is this a def of a ph issue.

Growing in promix with gh nutes.

I've only given her 1 dose of cal and mag a few weeks back but this doesn't seem like a cal or mag issue. At least not to me.
Maybe some weird light burn idk.
It's only on a few of the top and center leaves.
1000w ac hps about 14-18 inches awY in a 4x4. Its around 75f lights on 65f off and 40-50 rh. It's red widow 13 from dman seeds
Any help is appreciated.

Check your water first.
My ph going in is 6.3 I'm not sure what my runoff is I'm going to check it when I can later today.
I'm new to 1000w and had the light 12 inches away i was wondering if this is light bleaching or burn but idk.
Temps have been pretty good as I have an ac running as well.

its not light burn.
Yes I was just looking through pics and the only thing close is boron Def. And mag or cal. I can't find anything close to what mine looks like.
Some of m6 leave show signs of mag Def. Which I'm going to be dealing with.

I didn't have time to get a pic but here's 1 from a few days ago.
I have started flushing as I have 4 plants and all are doing it. 1 is a different strain so it's not strain Dep.IMG_20171002_003828.jpg IMG_20171002_003732.jpg

And there's not much damage in those pics so whatever is happening is happening fast.
That's why I flushed before I had to leave for work. When I get home I got 3 days off to figure this out.
Also should mention they went a day without water and the promix dried out. I'm wondering if that caused such a rapid Change in ph that it messed up the nute intake.

I would treat it as a Cal -.
Easiest place to start.
Boron - is rare.
Mag - wouldn't be showing in new growth without affecting the old growth first.
Either way, hit them up with Calmag.
One dose for where they are in cycle is not enough.

I would through in some calmag in your mix for sure if you dont already. I use a small dose of calmag every watering to ensure i dont have that type of deficiency.

If it never gets better check your water to see if it could cause nutrient deficiency lockouts from something such as chlorine or another factor, sodium, iron example.

Finally back with a better pic. Things got worse and I think humidity played some part in it. I've got a deuy running now and the 2 bad plants seem to be bouncing back.
They are almost 4 weeks into flower.

Interesting people say it's not light burn because that exactly what I thought it was, even though you say it's only 75 F with light on. The temp gauge measures air temp but 1000 watts at 14 inches might make the leaves too hot. Also you need to write how much of the fert you're using and how often. I suspect you might be over doing the fert. GH is a chemical fert that can easily be over used, especially in soil as the fert will remain in the soil for a period of time. Exactly how long I don't know, but a grower needs to be careful not to over do it.

Agreed. 1000w lamp needs more like 3' from the the canopy. Maybe 30" if you can keep up with the plants needs without overdoing it.

Which is what looks like has happened. The plants are photosynthesizing like mad under that much light so they are uptaking water and nutrients faster as they transpire more.

Then they burn. It is hard to grow under intense light. I would give some fresh water and back a the lights away and see if they perk up. Damage done but you can still harvest buds.

And the necrotic striping on the first leaf in the thread is likely calcium locking out which blocks magnesium and potassium next maybe phosphorous. They actually build up and block the roots when the plant takes too much. They will likely appreciate fresh water.

Wow yeah 14" is close, if you've ran that strain that close before then too bad, Its not going to take it now.

Pic 2, its in early flower and already showing some browning up top no? @Aby55 that can be an indication of too much P/K which is looking evident in the later pics, gotta post up them feed ratios/amounts if you want to attempt saving it.

First off thanks for the help. Im feeding the general hydroponics floraseries but just the 3 main bottles. Every other watering at the dose recommended on a canna feeding chart I found on a site. Ilgm or growweedeasy.
I haven't fed them since this started.

Im going to try to get these girls thru to harvest.
I have a few other strains in veg that I'm eager to get into the flower room and start over but I'd also like to fix these.
I had a weird work schedule a few weeks ago and these plants have gone down hill fast since then.
I need to start making more time for them.
I got star pupil in veg along with loompa goo, gg4 from docsdank seed. I definitely want to do right by them.

Why are you using a canna feeding chart for GH nutrients? Not all nutrients are the same and using a feeding chart for a different line could potentially cause overfeeding which can cause nutrient lockouts.
I also agree with others to move the light back if you can. I know there is only so much room in the tent so you might not be able to raise the light much more.
Good luck

I meant a cannabis dosing chart. Not for the brand canna.

I'm thinking I might cut down 1 or 2 so I can get another plant or 2 in there.

Out of 4 plants only 2 have issues. The other 2 are doing much better but they are further from the light so I assume that's why.
I had a feeling my light was too close. I should have went with my gut. But I kept reading that I wanted to be as close as possible. I guess it's a learning curve. Ugh
