Without knowing how far the breeder worked the genetics, that's a hard one to answer. Now if they are first bred, F1 (filial generation) seeds, then crossing a female and male from this generation would open up the gene pool and your resulting F2 seeds would show a ton of variance. If you continued breeding the line, F3 and beyond is where stabilization of the phenotypic expressions happens. This is my understanding of true breeding and doesn't take into consideration any back-crossing (BX), only male and female selection from the next bred filial generation. Eventually you'll have a regular seed that produces females that have clone like similarities. True breeding takes years which is why most breeders don't do it.

Yeah they were tude freebies a few years ago. It turned purple as fuck but didn't produce trichs. Zero high.

After DVG outed kens "breeding practices" (throw all males and females in a backyard and let them open pollinate) I'm not surprised we had 2 completely different experiences.

Easily anything from greenhouse. Most notably the church and great white shark for me. Didn't produce for shit, didn't grow for shit, didn't smoke for shit. They say that the church is supposed to be some super mold resistant strain but it molded the same if not quicker than anything else. I'll grow bag seed before I ever order from greenhouse again.

Greenhouse seeds Kalishnakova was the worst ever. I'm not sure what it was. No real buds just a bunch of thick larf that started molding on the inside. Undeveloped buds and trichomes. It never wanted to finish. The wax I made it into wasn't all bad.

Strange that I read all these bad reports of Kalashnikova. This was the first purchased seeds I ever grew(alongside serious Seeds Chronic), and aside from throwing balls along the meristem, it was pretty nice herb and made some exceptional ice water extract. Very uniform plants, nice big nugs, fully developed greasy trichomes and all. Great fuel type smell.

I must have got lucky.

I have tried to grow Nirvana's AK48 a couple times and never got anything good even with the couple I managed to finish.

Big Bud by Amsterdam Seeds, hash was alright but twigs was straight trash.

if you can find it.
I picked up a pack a few years ago and got 5 identical plants that all purpled out and smelled like grape cough syrup.


That sucks that vortex is no good anymore. I got a pack in 2012 and every female was identical and fantastic. I am growing a JillyBean now and hope it is still what it used to be.

Might try that but learning more towards reg seeds, found one by Bc bud depot ultimate purple sounds like they useds kens breeding purposes to make a good purple plant might due a pheno hunt with a pack in the future

I bought a pack of Kens GDP from the controversial release. Before all of the bullshit started. I popped 5 seeds, one died, and 4 made it. I got 3 identical phenos, and one that was completely different. The weird one had the strongest smell, but the shittiest structure. Ended up being a male, and since i couldn't stand the way he grew, i killed him.Of the three that were similar, the most vigorous was a male that i collected pollen from. The weakest i put into flower, and the middle one went to my buddy for his outdoor grow. Bugs killed the one i gave my buddy, which broke my heart, and left me with nothing to compare to the shitty one. Well, the shitty one turns out to be one of the best plants i have grown to date. The buds are mostly green, but will purple up under mixed red leds. The smell is an earthy skunk smell with absolutely no grape.....she is a stinker! Not that roadkill skunk, but a more refined sweeter skunk if that makes sense. She finishes as quick as anything,(8 weeks max) and the high is really narcotic. Some have told me it is too strong(novices lol). She turned out to be a keeper and a yielder! I guess the moral of the story is you never know!

Got some Micky kush from tga around this time last year only popped two beans outta five or six both males shoulda kept the one and let it flower but they did make good oil

I had a Bog Lifesaver taste like bacon grease.

Bubba 76 that I grew had the worst bud structure, but the nicest buzz and flavor and smell out of anything I have grown.

Hi i grew tangerine dream and it was amazing all my friends loved it tasted lovely and very strong i suppose it depends on the person x

Karma worked that line and its very uniform. I believe he took it to f4 it is a very unique og.

I'm currently having some trouble with a headband i have. Bitch refuses to give me clones and isn't recovering well from the cuts that were taken.

10 pack of kushage. straight garbage. I'm a hobby grower so that time spent on one strain killed any chance that id grow thseeds gear again. although I like the sage grown from someone else,it took two packs to get a clone worthy plant.

My worst strain ever was Moroccan. It was a freebie so I'm not bitch-en. It grew bigger and badder than the rest of the girls. I was so excited that I went looking for a fez. However, It was horrible. We had some Northern Lights #5 x Haze at the same time. It was gnarly and I won a local yolcal contest in Portland Oregon with the #5 haze. A.K.A. Portland Butt Hair. "smoke butt hair and you will get shitfaced." Now I know why they make so much hash over there.LOL

Not really I couldn't give it away literally and I was living at a relatives so creating hash and oil was difficult and done outside with no one home such a pain in ass all for stupid tangerine dream maybe a bad batch of seeds bud was loose airy smelled nothing like citrus out of 5 or 6 seeds I started one mom and started seedling with the rest I cut and root clones and grew about 10 tangerine dreams out of those ten 7 grew to be monsters literally like 10 foot monsters which then withered and died because the roots hit clay or swamp bog the other three were finished in pales and sucked. No taste no high no smell might as well smoke hemp and I used same soil and compost as other breeds and had amazing results I think shitty seeds

It was some weed that was grown from a bag seed. Shit tasted horrible and gave me a major headache. That headahce lasted for days.
