I am likely going to be taking a bus to a music festival soon here. What is okay? do they have dogs check? do they even check luggage? its going to be greyhound. Any advice is appreciated.

mail it to your hotel or destination prior to your arrival. i ship all sorts of things to vegas hotels before i arrive, nola hotels, and mi.. key is have your reservations prior to shipping, ship your luggage and keep everything important in there. its too easy.

Thanks. My friend told me they 99% of the time have dogs check through the bus and the trips like 3 days away, ill just get stuff there.

people are usually less suspicious of a girl or a couple anyhow. and a lot of people travel the way we do.

Trippe vacuum pack it. I don't care if you are shipping it through the mail or carrying it on a bus. Should keep the dogs from smelling it for a lot longer then 3 days.

edit: I just realized you decided not to. Also a good option.

Stuff it into a condom, lube up and cram it up where the sun rarely shines. Just don't tell anyone where it's been.

WTF?!?! you have virtually no chance of actually fooling a trained sniffer dog.. Their noses detect nearly everything.. They aren't all trained to trigger on all scents however, and dogs are dogs, so sometimes they get confused I guess..
I remember when I was in HS, the hallways were 'packed' right after the bell, and there was a narcotics dog being led through the crowd.. I had a stinky ass small bag in my pocket (I kept smelling it too strongly for comfort through 1st class), and by the time I saw the cops/dog I couldn't avoid them without looking really suspicious.. The dog's face actually brushed its face all along that pocket (like I said, really dense crowd), but it didn't alert..

Bullshit! A dogs nose does not defy the laws of physics. Just make sure that the outside of the vacuum package layers don't get contaminated at any point and wash the outside thoroughly after each sealing each layer. Smell will eventually permeate the plastic but that is going to be well after three days.

Funny you mention physics.. I have a degree in that.. If you're really good at ampouling with quartz, and sterilization then maybe you have a chance.. But if the word 'plastic' comes up then you have no chance of actually beating the nose, all you can hope is that you beat the dog..
Besides, what's the point in going through all that work when your luggage will be contaminated by all the luggage that's been in that bus..
For the record though, I've done ALOT of busing through Canada, and have never seen a canine unit poking around.. The last thing cops want is to write up paperwork for a small-time pot bust, and that's all they can really hope for on a bus.. Usually ppl worth busting have the resources to drive themselves or hire a guy to drive..

A friend had an oz of pot on the gray hound and they found it and said they were going to keep it and he flipped out because he just paid $$$ at the club.
He wend out side to "Give it away" and tucked under his balls and got on.

Gray hound is under TSA authority. Plus just because they don't sniff your weed getting on the bus, you might get it on the way off at the destination.

Also I used to smoke pot on the gray hound with sneak a toke and blow out the window. Did this several times ehehe,,,

You know I've never seen dogs at any greyhound station sniffing bags. I'm beginning to think that mason jars are the best way to beat a dog's nose.
