i read about going commercial , but what is the definition of "commercial" to us? being perpetual, having a certain amount of plants, the amount of weight some one produces, or the amount of cash someone could make with their grow small or big....if so what are some numbers? some one who produces 2 pounds a week? some one who produces 50 pounds every three months? anything over this x amount is commercial???? does comercial always men big if so what is big? 1 million pounds? lol sorry just thinking outloud and wondering...

thanks thats what i had in mind when posting.. just wondering what it means to you guys out here....now you get me thinking, whats it worth? where you live i think makes that difference lol my stoned ass sorry...

One single plant or a million plants, if you are selling more than you smoke or grow for the main purpose of selling, that's commercial in my eyes.

It depends on quality and how it was grown.

Indoor connoisseur type herb would catch a hefty price. Outdoor, decent bud would be cheap. Just like tobacco or alcohol.

I personally think it's worth maybe a dollar a gram max. Not saying people dont need to make money but do you really gotta make your living off a plant thats so easy to grow?

Get your lazy ass up and get a job. Not bagging on people who do, If you can more power to you.

Throw some seeds outside in a sunny location and you could be looking at up to 5 lbs per plant with less than 100 dollars in supplements.

JMO, not gonna argue with anyone

Id say commercial could be defined as grows over about 4,000 watts. People definitely grow to sell with smaller grows with that, but a lot of it is smoked personally and sold to friends/acquaintances in smaller increments (ounces and Q's). Rooms going over 4k are producing bud that will be getting sold in pounds and multi-packs to dispensaries or shipped out of state..very little if any of it will stay within the growers circle. And on a side note..weed (or anything) is worth what people will pay for it,growers arent greedy..they are selling what they have for a competitive price. If it was decided weed was worth a dollar a gram..Everyone would quit growing and the supply would plummet. If it was easy (and risk free) to do ,more people would be doing it and the price would be cheaper..but it isnt,so reality contradicts those claims.
