What is a good organic nute line for begining DWC?

I'm totally new to DWC and would like a go @ it. I'll be staring with 1k hps and eventually a second. I have a 6 outlet 20 watt 45 LPM air pump 2 large airstones, I will need more stones maybe another pump as well.

I'll be running Sour Diesel in a 11 x 12 room. I would like to grow a monster but may have to settle for smaller. I'm looking to be as organic as possible. Bennies are welcome. What organic cultures are out there?

dwc and organic stuff usually don't play well together. i used hydro nutes (synthetics) and kept the buckets sterile instead of bacteria. worked well for me.

General hydroponics micro and bloom. Make your life easier. No they are not organic.

Organic or synthetic your plant eats them the same. With organic youre relying on microbes to break down the organic food into something your plant can use. Not a lot of habitat for microbes to survive with dwc.

I understand that even with soil it's hard to be 100 % organic. I had a 3 gal smart pot in a over sized dish with a little cheap airstone and the roots where going through the pot something I've never seen before. The plant ended up a zip more that expected. So I definitely want to aerate my medium somehow if not DWC. Even with 85 % organic I'll be happy. I use Cutting Edge Solutions which is about there organically. I can't consume synthetic grown I get these 5 minute black phlegm sessions in the morning when I even Vap the twig. I've been on organic only and now I hardly cough. Is there some other semi organic stuff I can put in a DWC? Has anyone used Azomite in there systems?

Btw, Azomite is an inorganic mineral combination. (otherwise known a rock)

Really? Is that stuff good to put in your soil?

My first great grow used the fox farm trio in dwc.

The only problem I had was my watwr pump getting clogged a few times. I was able to overcome that problem with a pump filter bag.

I also did a flush every week.

I second this, although I don't run sterile water, I just keep the nutrient water chilled (below 68f). I strongly recommend synthetic nutes, and would steer you towards dry salts like Jacks or Hydrogardens.com if given the chance.

The only way I know of to run an organic RDWC is to run a bunch of fish and do it aquaponics style. I haven't tried it yet, but I want to!

I was given some Tiger Bloom and Open Sesame let me see how they work in my soil in bloom. I'm sure I'll find some combination/ line for DWC even if I don't get the best results I still want to do it.

It works well...I had a 35k gal dwc system growing veggies! All organic! Only down side is getting the water cultured! Can take anywhere from 2-8 months and even longer at cooler temps. Also if using Organics like this you need a space for the bacteria to live and eat...so some sort if a filter with a large surface area (sponge, rocks, bioballs etc...) mine had a 1,200gal simple clarifier even built a second out of 4 250gal Ibc creates.

Wow, that's serious! You're not doing it anymore?

If I had to try dwc with out fish I would try guano knowing what I know....sun leaves has a good line of 4 different types with a wide rang of npk ratios just be careful with guano hight in N as it will burn! Also Alaskan morabloom is nice for flowing as it is 0-10-10...eddha iron is he only iron I'd use for a hydro situational it is available at 100% @ 10ph! Use Epsom salts, oyster shell, and kelp meal or liquid kelp extract and that should cover about everything?

I should have mentioned to get a quick cheap micro boost you can add water from a healthy aquairum to get you started...if you can get the gunk from a filter even better. If you ask your local pet store they usually dump a lot of water when they do their water changes! Also Peruvian sea bird guano has very good fast acting bacteria, and worm tea will help with pests, and give your plant a strong immune system while providing many more micronutrients!

Very! Wish I could do outdoors there! From what I hear it's kinda hard to get in the game there at this point..we have some liberal laws here but can't wait for it to go recreational, then it's game on!
