I have recently been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. The doctor prescribed me pharmaceutical nsaid medication and wrist braces that i am suppose to wear all the time witch is nearly impossible as I am a Mechanic by trade. How many doctors visits or how many months or years do you have to have severe pain for it to qualify. I just want to make sure I am able to qualify before I go to the certification center and look like a goon.

Thanks ,

you should be good, go into a certification center with medical records of your carpal tunnel (chart notes from visits when you were seen for the condition), and you will be fine. look around here for good certification centers to go to, you shouldnt be paying more than 150 for your recommendation, and could pay as little as $100 depending on specials clinics might be running. just explain to them how chronic your pain is, and if it interferes with your eating/sleeping/or if you have muscle spasms. i had carpal tunnel previously and one of the most irritating things was how my forearm would flex involuntarily from it.

I myself have arthritis of the wrists which is what I got my card for I had no previous doctor record before I went in for my arthritis. I got a copy of the doctors report from that day and went to hydroworld in Lansing the next day.

Chronic pain is any pain that persists no matter what or reoccurs in the same localized area of your body.

The problem with carpol tunnel is that it's not permanent and doesn't last for years that's what I thought I had when I seen my doctor and he said it wouldn't be ct if I had had it for years.

Honestly it's not hard to get a card you just need to have anything related to pain on record to back up the physicians recommendation. The law doesn't state anything about ADD but I know a few ppl that have cards for it.

And if your neAr the Lansing area hydroworld gives recommendations for 100$
