What does CO2 do and why do we recommend that large grow lights need to be used with C02?

Role of CO2-
1. Giving plants more Co2 can promote growth and yield, just like an athlete would push the limits of their sport by taking in oxygen
2. During the flowering period, under the light of high PPFD, adding C02 helps the plant to absorb light more efficiently and thus use light more efficiently, thus avoiding the plant to be 'burned'.

Care needs to be taken when using CO2.
1. The CO2 concentration required for different stages of plants and for daytime and nighttime is different, our recommendation is that the CO2 concentration can be 800-1200ppm during the daytime, and the CO2 concentration can be controlled at 400PPM at night, you can adjust it according to the actual growing effect
2. There is a limit to how much CO2 your plants can absorb. When you increase the CO2 concentration during the day, you also need to simultaneously increase the ambient temperature of your room to ensure that your plants absorb more CO2

In conclusion, CO2 is a good tool, but it is recommended for professional growers to try it because it requires strict control of concentration and temperature data.

Totally worth it though if you want serious weight.

On a 4'x8' table with 8 plants in Promix HP with 50% perlite added and 1350w of full spectrum QB LED lighting, I got over 5lbs of dry trimmed bud (tops/mids) probably another pound of smalls but I gave up trimming when I got to them.

I honestly only ever got about 2.5-3lbs in a 4'x8' grow area without CO².
