I would normally agree with you...i found it a challenging plant to grow....maybe it's me, maybe it's the plant...either way, hands on experience from people who have been producing quality cannabis for years is not something to be just tossed aside....
Agreed, but the days of having to pay someone for that info is what I was referring to. Also, learning by trial and error helps. Rome wasn't built in a day after all.

thursday my mother went to the hospital ER.....thinking she had a chest cold or pneumonia....
by thursday evening she had be told she had stage 4 throat/lung /liver/pancreas and some gland in her back....Cancers....
I had freshly harvested my summer....and was planning to move my office to her house make RSO and begin to ....dg for my mom....
although the chances of any improvement were most likely nil...we were trying to stay positive for her....
by early Sunday morning she was gone....
There would have been ZERO or less than ZERO charged.....FUCK CANCER
Very sorry for the loss of your mother. Cancer sucks lost my dad to it. God bless you and your family.

Sorry but I disagree Manc
1000w = 1.5lb - 2.5lb / 672g - 1120g

1000w ballast/reflector/bulb 220$
Hydro for 2 months 100$
Nutes 100$ (plenty left over)

Your at 420$ for startup, even then you make 240$ per light on the low end. After ROI your just paying hydro, cheap nutes, water even if rent or mortgage came it play it's feasible with 32+ lights

32kw x 672g(1.5lb per) @1$ = 21,500$ per harvest.

After expenses I'm sure there's roughly 12k most likly more left over to pay yourself 1500$ weekly for the 2 month cycle. So..its possible but ofcourse not desirable.

Just means you finally have a correct opinion for once in your life. You should maybe take a note here for the future, kiddo.
I knew it was too good to last. My opinion hasn't changed, kiddo, perhaps you should have used your time-out to take some notes. I've been making a point of not making negative comments about you or your posts, too bad you haven't achieved the maturity to act the same. I'm pretty confident the rest of the people in this forum are not interested in a repeat of the pissing match, so I'll kindly ask you to keep your fucking comments to yourself.

Maybe I just don't know but a ballast, lamp and reflector for only $220. Any decent ones I've seen were more than that.
You bought Gavita's and paid more than double that..correct? Me Too

magnetic ballast, phillips bulb and parabolic reflector. I use DE because oft the technology. Start up cost is always a initial large investment. Just like me you and jedi have all made. We don't NEED fancy bulbs and expensive undercurrent systems. We use them because we know what we're doing and can afford it. I learned just like everybody else starting off "you get what you pay for" always applies with hydro equipment. I feel if I could rent a outbuilding and hang 32 lights, DNF nutes, well water, promix in grow bags I feel i could push out 1$ grams and make a comfortable salary. I would need 100gpd+ license and the patients would have to take all product produced at 1$ it's not ideal but it can be done...I'm sure some were it is being done in a greenhouse

Just think of all the promix your going to be moving...say 4 plants per light in 5gal pot..640 gal, maybe a pound per gallon dry...you could be moving a 1000lbs of promix every cycle....whats your time worth?

Waste management bins are 100$ a month with weekly pickup...would I do 1$ a gram, nope lol I'd rather give the patient the entire script and use the overage

Thats great but the bins are not going to load themselves and your operating cost just went up $1200/year

Who is gonna dg and run a 32k garden for two patients?
I think each situation will be unique to the patient/dg relationship and finances but no one should expect dgs to grow and provide meds for free.
I find it crazy though that almost everyone was up in arms about getting our grow rights back and now that there's a new program people still find reasons to argue and bitch.
If lps and compassion clubs/dispensarys are charging 7-15 a gram then that is the going rate is it not? So if a dg offered 4-5 a gram I'd say that's fair and I would be willing to pay it if the product is top shelf

Sorry Manc I respect you but disagree again. Last time I rented a bin it was 175 per pickup for a 6 yard bin for household garbage..fact...Waste Management Co. And I shopped around. This in K-W area. Cardboard was cheaper though.
So unless Garbage service got cheaper.....they weren't for me or two other folks i know as well. I had three different companies and they all were steadily increasing the rates each year.
If you get 4 pickup for 25 each...All I can say is ...WOW ! what a deal.

A friend of mine just spend 50k on a room......he said under 4 is not gonna fly. As he pointed out , why does he buy the equipment while someone else get it for near free. He needs some pay back...and I think that is fair enough. He has an investment and on going costs...depreciation and worn out equipment.
This would be a good time for someone who ACTUALLY sells for a buck a gram to speak up.....waiting...waiting....still waiting......tell us how it's done oh wise Guru...then prove it!!!!
Oh sorry I forget @itsmehigh ....he so generous he gives it away. Doesn't even charge a red cent...hahaha....ya right........GB said " fuck you " by the way...just his way of staying in touch.
He's away at a Mayor's conference and misses you. He did sent you a kissy though...lol
