so this might be a dumb question not sure
so i have 1 plant that is showing male pollen sacks and pistols... i have mainlined this plant to have 8 tops and fudged with its light cycle its just showing these pre-flowers of both genders its been about two weeks since i've noticed calyx and pistols and about one week since its started to show pollen sacks. my question is if i let the plant self pollinate will the resulting seeds be 100% hermie?? or if i leave the seeds to grow as solo colas for an outdoor grow would they be female as long as they dont get stressed?? or did i stress it to go hermie and will get fem seeds? or can i use the male pollen from this plant on a different female to get fem seeds??? any help or advice is welcome and appreciated?!?!?!

Most of the seeds will be female. From my experience you are more likely to encounter runts and mutants than hermies in the seeds of hermie pollinated plants. The seeds will have that hermie trait however, it's better to use silver to breed female seeds.

So by letting the plant just do it's own thing and pollinate itself I can get mostly fem seeds even tho I still run the risk of having some wired plants... And yes I agree with the silver and I had planned on doing that this time but when I spotted the herm I figured I would ask first

monoecious not herm......they can produce good smoke, but most people say Don't for breeding unless you follow the likes the someone like S. Hill who selfs for quicker traits aka hetero/homo to the pheno/genotype...

Most will be female if not all...I have been popping self pollinated seeds for about the last 5+ years....still haven't came across a female that became a "true" male....and have never popped a male....I am trying to go for vigor by crossing other lady boy pollen A onto ladyboy B....they say you will notice decrease in F4 or above if it happens...

pop it...fuck it....see what happens and educate yourself on growing....

I have a femmed blackberry Kush that usually reproduces lady boys about a 1-5% rate in the progeny.....on the other hand....another Fem strain that I am working Lemon Sour D.....Monecious [Female w/ male flowers on different nodes] like a mother fucker and looks more like OG in its structure actually...I would say near 50%+ progeny that become monoecious [Herm] ....

The bb Kush definitely herms less than some Dio strains that I have ran across....like true Blueberry..

ok so i get the jist of what your saying but i obviously need to educate myself a bit more and expand my growing vocabulary lol... but i see what i think you mean its not a full herm its fem with male flowers on a few of the lower nodes
(not all) and i dont see any pollen sacks on the top colas so far, and i planned on keeping the seeds weather self pollinated or use the "herm" pollen on 100% fem plant to try in separate location just to see how it goes i just wanted to put the question out there and see what answers i could come up with now.

Here I'm searching for why I have all females. Had one plant hermie and seeded a few othe strains around my room. ( I think). Either way I'm 7 for 7 females and didn't keep any seeds from the origanol hermies plant. Only other females around it. And thoughts. First few are looking very strong. But only 1 week into flower
