Im on my second attempt at this. When my first plant budded it was very airy and dry. What could have caused this? I have no pics because that plant is gone now and im on the veg stage of my second grow. Thx for any help or suggestions.

airy buds are caused by but not limited to : Strain, humidity, nutrient levels, light levels, light type, stress, bugs. Basically airy buds are either strain dependent or it is caused by something in your growing environment.

well i changed to a different light now but i was using a 150 wat hps bulb. im now using a 175 wat hps bulb.
how close do u keep the lights to the plants when flowering? if there too far it can make the buds less dense and what not i ant a expert..

Many people claim that feeding molasses at the end, especially if you're flushing other nutes, will give you denser buds. Haven't tried it myself, but am planning on it next grow.
