Merely stating the obvious.

"Like" this post If you want to know what happens next.
So you are upset because you feel that my headline sucked you into reading a question that has been answered many times, which could have been avoided by if i had searched the site for answer before posting?
Correct?

Well... i didnt search simply because i have been active on the site for a few years now and i have never seen the question i had asked. It may seem to you to be a naive question, but i wonder what your growing experience is?

I am new to cobs. My question was specific to cobs. Show me where a thread that has asked this question before, about cobs?

I am experienced enough to know that changes to your grow environment can bring on unexpected changes to the plants. But not experienced enough with cobs to know what those might be. So i asked... if you have nothing to contribute you are free to move along. If you are going to post cuntish shit then fuck off....

I run cob in veg, 3590's @ 1.4a, and at 10-12" from I think I may have had them too close as overall upward growth was quite stunted. Didn't really show as heat or light stress in the leaves, but plants didn't seem to want to stretch up at all.

This is mostly desirable of course, except the Blackjack (50/50 hybrid) I run already tends towards super squatty and thick foliage and after topping its a constant job to be pinching off new shoots that won't come to nothing.

My $0.02 anyways.

Also worth mentioning I went with 5000k cobs which is cool daylight / 24% blue and is understood to encourage tighter internoding.

MH is typically 4k.

Got mine at 12- 14" now, as suggested by the Tasty guy. Had em a bit closer for a bit and i did get some bleaching... which i have seen before. And that led to the question i asked.

I also noticed that the fan leaves neaest the lights have taken on a much deeper green colour than those below and they have a shiny, waxy sheen to them. Healthy looking...almost like if i had been adding silica to the nutes. Could just be the strain...trouble is that it is my first run with this one.

I have found it doesnt hurt to ask questions before trouble starts so you can recognize when it does and react sooner. Lol
