What are the GOOD inline fans?

I always see folks saying you need a REAL inline fan to vent/cool a tent but I never see anyone providing any links to actual fans that work. Just folks saying that fan won't work, but never providing any information regarding which fan WILL work.

So how bout it RUI? Which inline fans do you use for your tent?

The Advanced Nutrients BADASS Blower fan would be an example of what a good fan is.

Vortex canfan and hydrofarm all make good inline fans

Also if stealth is an important factor in picking a fan check out this video

I too have vortex fans (2 x 4 inch and 180 cfm each), and I like them much better than my HTG one, more cfm's and less noisey.

Vortex fans are nice. The mixed flow max can fans are BEASTS!! I have 4 12" max fans on the bare bulb room.

The best fans I have used for "normal" users are not made in china and marketed to weed growers. (Surprise).

The fans are made by tjernlund They are not pretty or have a cool name, but the have very nice bearings and motors. All tjernlund makes are fans for hvac systems. The cost the same as others.

I would never buy anything from HTG as almost all their shit is cheap Chinese junk! For the extra 20% I buy quality gear. Especially their hoods. Utter garbage!! Don't believe me, go buy a lux meter and go head to head.

You are going to upset all of the advertisers here for their brand name buys. Of course a company that sells HVAC supplies would blow any of this Hydro supply store away. Good to see someone who knows and understand how to really grow.

I use an 8 inch vortex. With a 950 cfm phresh filter cooling 2-5x5 tents with twin 1000 watt bulbs and they never get over 83° F in the summer. Note in basement with central a/c.

Whoa that video with the fans is crazy, these fans bashing out 90db of noise are certainly not for growers in dense urban environments.
