What am I seeing???

This has never happened to me before..... but this is my first time starting from my own clones. I have always grown from seed. Anyway, see the pic and tell me what am I seeing??? Should I be worried? They look like calyxs without buds.

I spotted these on several of my girls, which are 65 days since snipped off of mom and 4 days since flipping the lights.

Really? Thats all? I thought maybe i stressed them somehow...

I have never seen preflowers before. Ive always gone fron seed and as soon as i would see two long pistils at a node i knew i had girls and they would get another 2 weeks of veg then off to the flower room.

But there were a couple rounds where i vegged for over 8 weeks and still....never saw a preflower before. How could that be?

This thread shouldnt be in advanced growing. Keep em going for another month and youll have all the bud sites developed. Theyre horny to go though.

If you've seen two white hairs (pistils)at the nodes you've seen pre flowers. Pistils grow out of the calyx's. that's what the arrows in your pic are pointing at. Its possible that you were confusing stipules for pistils in your previous grows. stipules are on male and female plants and are commonly confused as pistils.

Showing sex. You've got a female.

Male plants sex would "dangle" from the calyxes.

Pistils will show up anyday, my og kush looked like that and pistils came a day and a half late, sometimes pistils pop up at the same time those do, sometimes not, most of the time they pop up at the same time, but that's no male plant i could tell you that

Ya .... i know its a female....known that since i clipped her off her mom....

Just wondering about the timing of the preflower... but i guess it makes sense that such is different on a clone then on a plant from seed...

Preflowering takes a little time, it'd usually be at the new growth areas, not the stems. You'd see alot of pistils

When you see the "balls" it is unmistakable. When you get nice fat preflowers I always take that as a good sign.

The funny thing is.... the mom i cut these from seemed to be flowering at the time eventhough she never saw less the 18 hours of light. She was a bit stressed though from a lil rootbound. I wonder if that had something to do with this...
