I will be posting this in a few states med section so if you happen to see it more then once the reason is I am looking to move and looking for info.

Within the next 12-18months I will be moving myself and my family to a MMJ friendly state. I currently live in N.Y. and with the new election of Gov. this past Nov the state will be screwed out of any MMJ till he is gone.

I am currently in a pain management program and have all teh medical doc to back up my issues. I am not just some pot head looking to get high. I am currently on handfull of meds ranging from Opana and Daludid Skelaxin and Zipsor as well as celabrex for a short time. I have been in PM now for a year and am rly getting worried about these druggs as I have already had to up the amount and now the dose to stay pain free. I know MMJ works for me as I have tried it.

That being said what can I expect if I move to this state and look for a Dr. to get myself a card. In all states I am posting this in I have checked the DoH reqs for the card and I meet them to my understanding.

Any info from any sites or personal info would be awsome. I dont need names or stuff liek that other then truested Dr. to see for getting a card. I would also like any info on MMj friendly areas in the state I am low key and wana stay that way but I also dont wana move to an area were I wont be welcome.

I am almost positive at this point there are not many if any doctors registered. my own father is in interventional pain man agment and has his own office. he knows i smoke and dosent think it should be this big of a deal and he thinks it should be legalized. However he does not want to register and already has looked into it.

Fact is in NJ at this moment unless your pain is from some other terminal illness or is due to an illness that qualifies in NJ you may not quaify. NJ is not the state I would choose personaly. at this pint california would be my first choice. if you can afford to live in NJ, you might be able to afford cali. Also, The feds are really making it difficult for dispenceries to get underway. I wish you best of luck on finding a new home for your Fam and hope you choose a state that will not hesitate to provide you with the safest most affective medicine there is....Marijuana......

ITs easy to get a card in OR. If you were to move here first thing you would need to do is get an OR ID card or drivers license. For that you will need a piece of mail to prove you live in OR, your old drivers license and a birth certificate. then you just go to the Oregon Hemp and Canabis foundation and give them your medical recors. What they are looking for is three visits to the doctor within the last two years for pain cause by the same reason i.e. chronic back pain, cancer, migraines. They will review your records and if you qualify they will give you a call to set-up an appt., this typically takes a couple weeks. If they call you to make an appt. you are already approved. you just go in see the doc, chat for a bit about your pain, then they will sign it off as approved. You pay $180 to see the doc. You then take the papers to the Department of Human services and pay the state $100, they stamp your papers and you are now a legal MMJ patient. You will then get your official card in a few months. From what I understand the process is quite similar in other states. Hope this helps.
