california is really leniant with their cannabis laws, the most you can have on you before getting arrested is an ounce, but if you are caught with a scale on you you automatically get arrested. other than that its like a slap on the wrist, 100 dollar fine and a court date. ive had friends get rolled up on the cops, and the cops take there stuff and not give them a ticket for it.

2 days ago i was at the skate park, cops rolled up, searched everyone there, busted a FUCKING 12 YEAR OLD with an ounce and a scale.

Actually Seizure laws are Federal. Now you may not get the feds on you for 5 plants and in fact they usually scoff at any case under 100 plants, but the possibility is there in any state or territory of the US.

yeah,..not sure what would happen if they caught ME.....i have bad luck. I have had a felony for posession w/ intent to sell,...served my time,...got the felony exponges (which means it pretty much never happened),...but if i got caught growing,...i wonder if they could use that charge against me still.....

i still live with my parents, they said im not allowed to grow until i get my medical license (few months away)

You SHOULD NOT BE ENCOURAGING MINORS TO DISOBEY THEIR PARENTS, ESPECIALLY OVER SOMETHING THAT COULD HAVE THEIR PARENTS ARRESTED! It may not seem like a big deal, but when you're a minor and it's on their property they get the heat for it. If you actually have any fuckin respect for the people that gave you life and support your ass you would not hang them out to dry for your own personal grow, wtf....

Exact same thing happened to me brother. I get off probation for it in March and my records get expunged. I doubt they could use that against once the felonies are expunged, but I don't for 100%.

i had a rather funny first growing expierence. my mom loves orchids and has a huge hydro setup. well me in my infint wisdow came across a seed and germed it. well as the plant started to take shape, my mom started to ask questions which i tried to play off as not me, but enentualy told her it was me. well she told me i was doing everything all wrong and fixed it. she was in college in san fran during the 70s so she knows a thing or two.

Man, if i got caught with any number of plants... i would be SCARED!

as for the two who had their felonies expunged, no they can't use it against you. part of the thing for serving your time and them being removed from you records, mean that they basically never existed and would be unable to be brought up in any sort of way. i would imagine if something did happen, and some record was found and brought up in trial or such, that would be the perfect grounds for appeal and getting the whole thing thrown out.

Thats why i was encouraging him to grow out outside somewhere a few miles away from his house. THAT WAY HE CANT GET HIS MOTHER SENT TO JAIL BECAUSE IF IT AINT GROWN ON HER PROPERTY THEN IT AINT HER PROBLEM!!!! I aint tryin to encourage people to fuck up and get everyone sent to jail, I am tryin to open new doors to growin for him, that what this damn web site is all about.................---

I hear ya, if you're a minor outside somewhere else is the way to go.. wasn't trying to insult you, just saying just because you disobeyed your parents and didn't get in trouble doesn't mean you should encourage that kind of behavior...

yah happen with me my mom stayed with me through the whole growing period. She asked me what those seeds under my bed were I told her the true. I convinced her to let me keep them. I told her itsd only a hobby nothing more. I mean come on who'd smoke that crap

LOL, I hope your kidding, that's pretty dense if you believe someone that says they're just growing for a hobby and not smoking. I mean, I choose to grow the one plant that I can go to jail for, but yea, it's just a hobby, ohh and Low's was out of morning glory seeds. LOL
