If you want trippy animated films look up any old films by Ralph Bakshi. I still have most of his collection on VHS. Trippy stuff from the 60s and 70s. Fritz, Wizards and Coonskin are classics that you should see for sure.
Dead Leaves probably shouldn't be watched sober. It's nonstop craziness.
The original Heavy Metal film is a good choice as well.
Then there's Wicked City and Akira if you're into Anime. Even if you're not they're worth a watch.
I just ordered a bunch of Bakshi dvds and found (I hope) Liquid Television and Aeon Flux. Time to warm up the player.

I am going to tell everyone a little secret, ok, 2 little secrets.....

While taking LSD.......

Watch a movie called "The Flight of the Navigator".... The movie has FANTASTIC visuals for LSD usage..... (It's about a boy who becomes friends with a spaceship that has the voice of Pee Wee Herman.... hehehehe

Then... on Sega Saturn.... You need a pair of 3D glasses. Remove whatever play disk that's in the system and turn it on. Up pops a space ship.. If you put a music disk in the Saturn, the Space Shuttle will come into the screen and fly out of it, it bounces around and does all sorts of crazy shit to the beat of the music.

So then you put on your 3D glasses and then reflect the image of the Space Shuttle on to the back of a Compact Disk and it will blow your fucking mind.
