weird "spikes" coming out of stem

Yep... At first i also thought them to b roots... Bt then, since my plant has got matured enuf i didn't expect them to come out 2 inches above d soil... However thnx for your replies...

sworth just wondering how long after feeding should i see results to know if im feeding enuff or should i just wait till the following week and increase the strength

Sprinkle some granular fungi on those roots then water and cover them up with soil that's what I would do.
