Hey guys.
maybe you can help me. I'm running an 8 site UC experiment. Everything was going well up until a week a ago. I believe my partner may have sprayed the plants with anti PM, and it seems like the bud growth has stopped.

I've been running advanced a+b throughout, and added big bud and overdrive as per the advanced schedule. I also added ewc tea for suspected root rot as shown here
https://www.rollitup.org/t/can-anyone-help-a-canadian-patient-with-suspected-root-rot.849655/

My ppms are at 740 (500 scale) water temp 67f, pH 5.5-6.0 swing. Here's what my Dwc bud looks like Compared to soil flipped on the same day. I believe the spray may hahave stunted bud growth. Anyway to fix this? Any other theories/suggestions?

Thanks man. I'll upload some pics from last week. The black is only on the roots closest to the net pot. I suspect this reflects my water levels while I was adding ewc teach to battle the root rot I had to start with

let me ask u has the buds started growing normal again or has ur progression still halted..i notice ur problem lies in the gap between where the roots touch the water...the air gap in ur bucket basically...i would normally assume tht was built up nutrient deposits but ur roots on the bottom look very healthy just near the bottom of the net pot look a little black not slimy tho...is the any slime when u touch...and i have used str8 peroxide in my dwc systems and never had a problem...sometimes the best way to fix problems r the cheapest also...nutrient comps. will have u buy tere hyped up products tht shit u buy at walmart does the same shit.imo..anyways..is there slime 2 the touch and has ur growth develpment picked up...i have a idea but ill wait till u confirm my questions...what lighting are u running also

what genetics? because most og and cookie strains will have gaps between the buds, trying to get colas from some strains is a big ask.

your roots don't look the best but the plants don't look bad, strange one

Most my sativa dominant strains/ o.gs look like that at week 3 to 5 they take a while to mature and don't start stacking and getting fat till like week 7 through 11. Mabey just be patient.

The strain is (as far as I was told) is rockaberry kush. The thing is that the area of the roots was slimy and brown. So I brewed and added ewc tea. All was good. Then the slime looked like it was making a comeback so I added zho, and raised my water level to cover the slime. As the water level went down, the roots went black, leading me to believe that the zho might have left a film on the top of the water that coated the roots as it went down. So I drained the system and added a fresh batch without zho and the black stopped spreading.

Today is the beginning of week 6. The funny part is that there are buds on the plants that are stacking properly. But most, including all the main colas, are not. I am using 2 x 1000w. Under raptor reflectors. I am running advanced a+b and overdrive at about 650ppm (500 scale) I was running my pH at about 5.7 and I would let it drift to 6.2 before changing nuts. Now however I do the opposite. I set to 6.1 and let it drift down, because my pH seems to go down by 0.1 daily and my ppm remain stable.

I did one othere dwc run, but with a single bucket without a chiller and I developed rot. Peroxide did nothing for me while the tea worked miracles. That's why I used it this time. My water is currently chilled to 67f

Sorry forgot to say that the progression on the main colas has still halted but a couple of the side branches have picked up

I know it's very strange. No burn, good color, great vigor throughout all stages. I would agree with you about it being strain specific, however I have this strain growing in soIL at the exact same stage and the bud looks better

Lol thanks. The strain is rockaberry kush. Thing is I got it growing side by side with a couple in soil and the soil ones are wayyyyy ahead

I got this tip from heath robinson some will disagree. Those thick roots ya got there are called cord roots. You get them from your water level being to low,it is a waste of energy.
I tested it on mine & he is correct, try it on yours if you want & then decide.

Thanks for the tip. I was told that In flowering I was supposed to drop the water level to simu late dtaught conditions etc. They even recommendo it on the current culture website. Any thoughts?
