Ok so i just got home about half hour ago, i see my dog have a siezure so knowing pots used for siezures i blew smoke in her ears towards her mouth and about 2 seconds after, her breathing slows, she stopped seizing, and began to wake up. within 5 minutes she was herself agian. usally that takes hours

About a year ago I was kind of antipot for dogs, however, I have seen the error in my opinion. Great news, very happy for you and your dog!

No offense, but she has them weekly. They never ever stop like that. And when they stop she is checkedout but walking crying for along time. there was none she came out of it happy and tail wagging

Still too inconclusive

Do it a few dozen more times and write down what happens, that's the only way to know if it helps, I'm not sure there's any research on this at all

correlation/causation

What has her veterinarian given her for the seizures?

I have known of a few pet owners who had dogs with seizures that sought out pot smoke (well 3 in 20 years). They were toy breeds mostly and would climb up on their owners chest and wait for exhale. It seemed effective in all cases. My dog hated to be around it and would leave the room when I would smoke. He was a square LOL. I don't condone getting animals high at all; but I have seen this work in the past. I even had a friend who had a pit bull that suffered from horrible skin allergies and that dog would run into exhale clouds, it did seem to relieve some of his agitation and he would stop scratching. Way too easy to over medicate an animal with smoke I would think, so be careful.

dont blow smoke at your dog.. make a bit of canna oil.. add a drop or 2 to the food daily..

use about 5-8gs to 2 cups oil.. this should last a long time.. unless you sneak some for yourself..

dogs do not have the same THC receptors humans do...

I have given my Roxy dog drops of oil during the spring time here when she is allergic to something? (had tests done.. skin scrapes diets etc.. nothing worked.. MJ stop the all day itching she did.)

Could be simply the oil too. Dogs need a lot more fat in their diets than they usually get. My dog prefers eating it raw off the plant. But occasionally when I'm vaping with the volcano upstairs he'll get in my lap for the slipstream and I blow it away from him and he'll artfully change configuration until I'm to stoned to remember where the fuck he was and exhale at him. Then we both sort of sit there staring at the opposite wall for god knows how long LOL!

LOL! she looks like a little piggy :) I love the image of her with the droplets, like a model on TV. I'd try her with a little bit of oil without the cannabis and see if anything changes. But you know me ha always trying to isolate the en vivo variables with limited success ;)

My dog Mali (Molly) had a seizure and we took her to the Vet. An $3,000 MRI showed a brain tumor forming. They gave her 3-6months to live if we started Chemo therapy. We started her Chemo and I read where people were having great results with THC oil for brain tumors. I make her THC oil/paste with Kief & Everclear & rice oil. She has been receiving a rice sized piece on her food every day. Mali has been seizure free & no further signs of tumor development. My Vet expected her to be dead a long time ago. It's been 1 & 1/2 years, & the Vet looks absolutely flabbergasted each month when we go in for Chemo. Mali looks completely normal. I have not told the vet, because I don't know if she feels like our friend Clayton, and might consider it animal abuse.....Good luck, THC works!

You know Sativex is in trials in the US for Glioblastoma. They should be finished shortly. We sort of expected it to go faster than it is, le sigh.....
