Weed as gifts for family?

Hey guys, just wanted some opinions on this.

Preface: recreational use is legal here.

I never know what to get family members for Christmas and birthdays etc. I usually end up giving lame ass gift cards...

So I was thinking since its legal now, why not pot this year?

My aunt and uncle are cool, they talk about it sometimes. And I'm know my cousins are down.
Probably none for my mom and stepdad... Though maybe that's just what he needs to pull that stick out of his bum.

And then there's grandma...

Anyway is this a good idea or a bad idea?

P.S. Several of them know that I grow it.

I say go ahead a pass out weed to your fam like hot cakes. You'll be their favorite transgender family member of all time!

You might be right man. Though most of my gifts to fam have probably been cheap/thoughtless.

Idk, I could definitely see it going either way. They might think it's cool, or they might think I'm just being a douchebag.

Yeah I don't have that much contact with my family, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't feel comfortable asking me.

Giving it to them could open doors there yeah? Doors to getting stoned with family... Ugh wait, nvm I'm starting to think this could be terribad.

If they consume cannabis they will enjoy it. Home-made/hand-made is always better, and people often give these items as gifts. Jams, jellies, hot sauce, salsa, etc., are often given and appreciated as gifts. You might have a couple of gift cards handy just to be safe, but I don't think you can put less thought into a gift than a gift card.

nomoresnow, I hope I live long enough to see cannabis offered alongside tomatoes, water melon, corn, etc., in farmer's markets. Cannabis in all its forms, just as we do with other plants now. I qualify for SS this year so I haven't got that much time left.
Actually, I'm counting on ^^^ to supplement my retirement.

After curing my wife's sleeping issues (and some pain abatement) the most joy I have had since starting to grow was handing out Christmas Zips to relatives I knew smoked. None.know I grow and think I gave them the results of helping a friend harvest. Most are still thanking me.

Yeah man, I have people that get it each xmas.
I buy decorative jars and try to give each a few jars like a variety pack.
I really like the smaller blue glass type.
When the weed is gone they still have cool jars.
People who buy weed appreciate the hell out of it.

Nickle hash pucks....
For fun sometimes I will press bubble hash into 1g "Nickle" hash pucks. I use a piece of plumbing pipe and a roll of nickles.
If you look close you can see Jefferson's Monticello.:eyesmoke:
They make great stocking stuffers..:-)

Do you have to heat it or just pressure.
Mine never turn out, I also have a very shitty weak press so maybe I just need more power

That's what's up! I have a small press, I make dime size pucks with. But I also don't have a forest of cannabis:cry: like you do lol
I'm thinking about upgrading to one of these
