The mark of a true leader is that he/she recognizes and supports those that put the work in to a project. They give credit where it is due.

This is the man that did the work for PTSD. He spent a year and a half putting together hundreds of pages of supporting evidence to gain approval for PTSD. He presented his case well.

Joe, myself, and the other 17 speakers that day were there to support him, not promote our 'factions' (or have our toadies do it for us) and claim credit for something WE didn't do. HE did it, we were there to support him at a time we should all be coming together. That is the difference between true leaders and goons. I don't claim to be a leader, but I am by no means a goon.

I think its awesome what you are doing Dr.Bob. Keep up the good work. HATERS GONNA HATE!!!!
Yep, and appreciate the kind words. My only concern is that the haters can confuse new folks that don't know the background of this bunch and it makes the community look bad as a whole.

I will add that many folks have contacted me in support and quite a few appointments are made due to the attention they bring. So really the result is more people are helped that otherwise didn't notice the threads. They just see the activity and have a look, then make up their own mind.

So what they do brings about the results they attribute to me. Harms the community and puts money in my pocket... The latter isn't worth the former to me, I do ok anyhow.

I like Dr. Bob. Not a big fan of Cain. Both men are responsible for my like/dislike of them.

Mr. Cain tried to destroy my business and accused me and a fellow business owner of all sorts of chicanery with zero proof. I understand he is passionate about the cause, but assembling a circular firing squad is/was not productive.

Dr. Bob has also been the victim of mob style character assassination by some of the same folks that tried to take me down. I understand the tendency to get a bit defensive after all that, I know I still am and what I got was nothing compared to the treatment Dr. Bob got (and is still getting from some of the devolved beings in our movement).

Anyway, a big thank you is owed to all those that showed up to testify, and especially to the people that dedicated immense amounts of time researching and building a case to present to the panel.

Thank You!

nice to see PTSD getting recognition. sick of people giving me wierd looks cause I say I still have nightmares on a weekly basis from deployment 5 years ago. the same scene of my friend getting shot in the throat over and over and me standing their helpless and not able to move. sucks.
all the respect in the world to you friend, that shit isnt no joke, we all owe you gratitude for your sacrifice. a good friend of mine was a long time marine, unfortunately service men and women are taught they have to be extra hard, and they shouldnt talk about stuff like this. maybe if he had someone to talk too, he'd still be here giving me shit, drinkinng all my Heinekens.. shit brought me to tears just tring to write it, and its been almost 4 yrs.. we miss you Dale!!!

Our Dr just had to send away a vet the other day everyone on staff was pissed and he was very understanding and we told him to pressure his legislator.

How can PTSD NOT be included on the list??? For shit's sake.
There are a lot of things that our government doesn't do for our soldiers once they come home and can no longer fight.

It's shameful the amount of money we spend on war, but pinch pennies and cut corners with vets that need help.

yeah if they recognize PTSD as a 'real' disorder...they will have to go all the way back to the vietnam vets and give them what they deserve!

they dont want to admit its real --
--they tell soldiers to 'suck it up' and stand strong....they used to call it 'shell shock' from WW2-

i got PTSD....
-every time i hear helicopters or see police....i want to run and hide in the bushes--

its for real and a motherfucker if you have ever been traumatized by war or the police-
