There's nothing dishonorable about flipping burgers for a living, honest work is honest work.
never said it was dishonorable. but, if someone thinks they'll drive a 7 series bmw and own a house flipping burgers, their chances are low. managers of in n out can make $110k+ though.

good to see i have a crowd of folks taking note of what i do, take more notes. i was a broke fucker like most of everyone else, still consider myself one. never had a salary more than 60k. but a decade of sacrifice and commitment has opened doors that you guys cant even see. its america folks, grab your bootstraps, shut the fuck up, make a plan, and go to work on it. you know... the same thing you do when you grow herb...

He retired but it was in an out of the way location. No foot traffic and very little car traffic. A line around the block every goddamn day.
These people are in line for hot dogs prior to the place opening for the day.

They didn't sell drugs either. Just fine, encased meats. The neighbors hated him.

I've seen people drive luxury with not a stick of furniture in the house.

TV trays and boxes, but the kids usually had a bed.

"The Potomac Maryland Story" or "Life at Avenel."

I used to have a business feeding off the rich folk there while I attended school. A few literally made me sign non-disclosures to protect their reputations. Downstairs was all set up for entertaining George Bush but upstairs was a fucking nightmare.

But then I also had customers with incredible art collections and lovely homes. Old money.

Hot Doug's closed. As usual, you are a dime short and a day late.

You'll never know how good this was

Cajun Pork Sausage with Bleu Cheese Dijonnaise, Fried Okra and Spicy Smoked Almonds
It was worth the wait.

You in Chicago Fogdog?

ps, have you seen the place that took his space? No lines never. I know of nobody who has tried it. Bet the guy paid too much for the space.

I don't live there but love the city. Brother in law did live there and he took us to Doug's while visiting. Sat in the sunshine and the world disappeared for a while as I ate my work of art. Too bad the new guy didn't understand the magic of the place but then again he had a tough act to follow.
