Watering question for ebb and flow users

Do you water in veg the same amount u water in flower???

Also, how many times a day do you water???

What media are you using?

i am using rockwool cubes and hydrorokz.

This is my setup...

I am using one 4x4x8 tent for veg and a 4x4x8 tent for flower. I plan on using the ebb and flow controller and res for both tents. My question is if I have two seperate areas that i am trying to water, can I use the same ebb and flow controller for both? and use te timer accordingly???

Your plants want different nutrients while in veg and flower.

I use Coco and hydroton, so my flood schedule would be different from yours. At one time during very strong veg growth, I was flooding for 15 minutes every 3 hours under 24 hour MH lights. I believe rockwool holds moisture better, so you can't flood as often as I did.

I see two issues with your plan. First, the nutrient blends used in veg and flower are different, so you probably don't want to use the same res for both tents. In addition, you will only be flooding during the lights on cycle in your flower tent, so you probably wouldn't be able to use the same controller.

I'm just a first time grower, so I'll be interested to see if any one else on RIU has ever made this work.

Don't give up yet, there's lots of times I've read replies to threads where someone has come up with a DIY solution to problems. Give people a chance to review your thread. You might be surprised.

well wat im doin making a little clone cabinet right now to keep maybe 15 clones at a time in....

then i will transplant from clone cab to veg tent w/ebbnflow then transplant to flower tent w/ ebbn flow.

i have enough extra buckets to still use but i will have to use ogres tutorial on how to make another controller, then i will have to buy another res to use then just run that system separately.
