Watering in Soil

Hi, just curious what peoples opinions are on watering. Is it recommended to give straight nute free water every other watering session? Or can you just get away with doing it once a week? I know it depends on how much your feeding, but lets assume an average of 700 ppm's in RO water.

lift the pot first get an idea on the weight /imo

you may not notice any serious water use till ...come bud

then its full on

I use enough water to equal about 10-15% of pot volume
Thank you for your input, but im wondering whether I should be watering with nute free water every other water session or not to prevent salt build up or whether its necessary.

Realistically u sholdnt have to flush untill. Switch from veg to flower an near the end of flower.!(end flush is debated but i recommend) unless ur doing HEAVY feedings with salt based Nutes..

True that! Thanks for the input. I think there is myco already in the promix bx isn't there? Also, if I do add some, do I just do a top dressing? On another note, won't the acids in the DNF just kill the myco?

Yeaa but inless there fed proper they die slowly so either a bio tea of bacuillus and ur kelp with sweetener or carb to keep them alive is necessary..just add a few spoons of worm casting or endomaxx every month ur plant will dig it...growth science is a great a+b nute thatscheap an effective

It wont like kill it instantly but they do need some repopulating every once in awile...when u do ur myco treatment dont mix it with anything but a sweetner or a little kelp..dont water with nute for at least a day after myco treament...dnf is a good nute if used proper

I see, well I have everything I need to make a proper bacteria tea, but I thought it would be pointless if I kept using DNF and I didn't want to go buy new nutes since these are working fine.

but I do have access to some good worm castings. How much myco do I apply to ea 2-3 gallon pot? Also, whats endomaxx? can't find it.

On another note. Whats the max PPM you can feed your plants in Soil (on average)? During Veg and then During Flowering?

I use promix. Depending on size I use a .3 EC to a 1 give or take depending on size and stage. I use Peters. Now in week 4 of bloom the plants are 3 ft and I feed every watering. I use bloom booster at an EC of .8 or so with 5 ml calmag plus. If I see a need for more or less I will adjust. I water with around 1 gal in a 5 gal grow bucket. When it is light I water. Every other day now. I will back off to just water the last week or so. Nice green not to dark.
