Water PH in soil

Hi
All in need of help clearing up some issues so here goes. Should I adjust the ph of my water before feeding plants? this question doesn't include nute feeding just straight water feeds. I have heard several different theories with soil being a natural ph buffer etc.... Feeling slightly confused.
My ph is a little high so I have been adding ph down to bring it to around 6.5 is this wrong!

We adjust the pH of just water if we will later be adding things to the plants that will alter the pH. Plants in nature haven't evolved to deal with an environment where the pH changes abruptly from watering to watering. We recognize the signs of pH stress on sight and it is known to be a really bad thing. So that's it in a nutshell pretty simple huh? Ask yourself if you will be feeding anything to the plants along with the water ever, if the answer is yes then always set your pH so there is no change in pH when watering and feeding.

Thomas don't worry about the pH of your run off it doesn't tell me much. If you are having an issue with your plants start your own thread, tell us as much info as possible and please include a whole plant picture.

The problem is when I am looking for something of course I see it but yes that's what I see. Leaves that look water stressed slightly, twisting, nutrient lockouts. So if we are correct then you are looking at toxic levels of salts that will never dissolve now. Thomas I have no experience with salt build up in soil I think you need help from someone who has done this before. How about starting your own thread using those photos? Honestly Thomas I don't think those plants will make it another month and I think yield is in real trouble.

Edit: Thomas those plants aren't root bound are they? Google root bound you will see what it is

Noobs ph soil, the rest of us understand that it is pointless to try and alter the soils ph until the lime charge in it is used up.

Soil not hydro!

I am not sure what he is advising you to do. You don't change the pH of the soil you rinse the salt build up. But I am not sure if you pH your flush water to push, disolve, or leave it neutral. I don't know, I am inexperienced with flushing salts. Also I think there's some chance they are out of space in the root zone and may just be root bound so check that first unless you know otherwise.
