Water curing question

I am going to try this water curing method as shown in the FAQ's for some of my bud, just to test it and see the results.

However, when I get to the dehydrator method, does my bud go into the dehydrator for 5 hours no matter the quantity?

Also, seems like I ran across a post by videoman who stated he didn't use the dehydrator on some, but just left sitting out for a day and it was dry by then. Is that also known to be a good way to wait an extra day and not have to buy the dehydrator?

Lastly, with the water method, can/should you still nute all the way to harvest (for those that will water cure)?

I'm comin close...@ 5 wks...my patience is reeling...but i'm holding out...letting the buds get as big as they can...keeping my eye on the "recommended" 60-100x scope...and while hard to hold the damn thing steady, it's a wonderful sight looking at all the trichs...

Hey dude, I actually hung them to dry for two days, not one.
Save your money and just hang em to dry.

So far as leaching as you near the end, that's a great debate. I use nutes til the very end, but I grow organically. If you use chemical nutes, defenitely flush!
Peace

Water curing removes most of the taste/smell and when it's done you'll think where did all my shit go. It shrinks big time.

The potency will be much higher and it burns great.

While it is true, that you do loose some weight, the weight lost, is all the nasty stuff that you dont want to smoke anyway. So this is actually healthier for you, and more potent.

Here is an interesting article about it.

yeah, I know it removes a lot of the taste and smell, just as stated in the FAQ, but while I DO enjoy the taste and smell (thus not ALL of my bud will be cured this way), I am also interested in the quick turnaround, as well as the increased potency, as when high...i could care less about the taste and smell...

thanks vid for the comments, and I plan on flushing anyway since I'm not running organic (except for the soil). Also, thanks for the post I found on the "odor removal machine"...as I am leaving town for 3 days and the mother in law will be here...<biting nails>..so I built me one of those mean muffin machines 3 days ag...unfortunately, I couldnt find any ONA except through the i-net, and I needed something quick, so I got some other odor absorbing liquid, and it helped a little, but still smelled...so then I put the "ocean breeze" or some crap Pine Sol and now I can't even smell it in the closet...just that "just mopped" scent!!! so RIGHT ON with that post...now I jus gotta remember to raise the lights for the days I'm gone...

thanks again guys...peace
