It is government waste that could be eliminated. School education scores are on a downward trend and have been for quite some time. It is obvious that input at the federal level is not working. Lets eliminate the department of education and pass the money back down to the states where we can have 50 laboratories from which to pick best practices rather than a monopolistic top down burecratic monstrosity that just isnt working. EPA could be passed down to the states, it is not as if each state does not have an environmental regulation department.

Umm, where to start. At this time, corporations and the 1% have an out sized voice in politics. Also, lets not forget that several states have put in place obstacles to voting, especially in areas with lower incomes or a higher population of minorities. Until these issues are addressed, a small number of people have undue influence in elections. Your claim is false and at best, naive. Except that a corporation doesnt keep money for a sheer purpose. The profits go into either growing the company and creating more jobs or the profits are distributed to the investors. The company is not an individual.
