No I meant the organic Miracle grow potting soil. I know it doesnt make sense but it doesnt work as good as the other kind. I also use fox farm which yeilds a lil more but is more expensive. And is that bud in your pic the best you can do lol My buds last grow killed that puny lil bud ha ha

You forgot the link to the pics

I just looked at your profile and saw this pic:

You are trying to tell me that with plants like that you grew enough to supply yourself and sell some?
Hahaa...no, that's a reveg experiment I have going. I'll look for a pic of that plant before harvest. It's funny that out of all my pics, you picked this one to post. The album you grabbed this from is reveg plants only.

Sorry dude Ive already grown 6 plants witthem and they are fabulous for veg stage. Like I say dont knock em till ya try em. By the way these are made by Lights of America model 7020. I didnt want to but I guess Ill have to take some shitty phone pics and start a journal for u unbelievers. 4 of theses lights will veg 3 plants in a cabinet. Then I flower with a 400w hps and always get abot 3 or 4 foot plants with heavy buds. I believe 8 lights for 4 plants would be more than enough to grow to 16 to 20 inches before you start budding, And Im sorry if some of u thought I was using them to bud. Hey Im not a newbie.
Yep, that's the light I have.... and I DID think you were flowering with them at first. :wall: Sorry. For the price, the light is very effective.

Where's the pic of the harvest colacollector?
I'll hunt down some better actual harvest pics, but this is a pic of that scrawny lookin revegging plant (from earlier posts) 3 weeks before harvest. It's a view of one top and one branch end along with the light that is the subject of this thread.

Yeah man if you find some post pics of the full plant
Unfortunately, I have a habit of only taking pics of the tops. I'll have to change that in the future. Also, like an idiot, I never took pics of the whole harvest. I was harvesting over the course of a couple weeks, and I only took pics of a few small buds towards the end.

That's the link to a small album here on RIU of the small buds at the end of the harvest period.

Those buds look TINY for that much wattage. I got buds bigger than that with 250 watts of....... HPS
Oh that is why, HPS dominates CFL's in lumen output and penetration. If you can control almost 600 watts of CFL's than you can easily keep a 400 watt HPS in check too
Just a thought man but 600 watts of CFL's is a waste in my eyes

Actually, I don't normally use CFL's till towards the end. I have 4 twin tube 4 foot shoplight fixtures in there. (Along with the smaller stuff) It was all about money when I built it. I'll be ordering a pair of 250W HPS's soon enough to get the flowering up to par. The reason I need a pair, (I think) is because the closet is 8 feet long, 6 feet high, 2.5 feet deep.

Yeah man those 2 250 watt HPS are going to at least double your yield and you'll be using less watts too

So more for less..... yep that's what I'm after. I don't normally sell weed, but when I sold off some of my stuff, it bought firewood for the winter, and left some dough in my pocket. What the hell..... as long as I'm careful, right?

K dudes back to the subject. I got more info off of the bulb. Now model 7020 has 2 types of lights. One is 2700k and the grow bulb is 7800k. Bulb has a number F17T8 and another crb17T8. If you dont like walmart I still suggest getting some lights with a 7800k spectrum like these.
