Family is coming by this weekend. Fri night, sat, and leaving Sunday. They will be staying elsewhere though. Light cycle is 8pm-8am lights on.
Week 7 flower
I was going to put them both in a box or Tupperware in the attic with an Ona gen in the adjacent room. Not the same room.

I was going to move them back after everyone went to their hotels Friday night and let them have the lights on all night. Then move them back in the morning to the attic.

My question is. Worst case scenario. How long can I leave flowering plants in the dark. I just don't want to move the entire tent and setup. If they end up getting 15 or so hours of dark for each of the two three days would that be fine. I heard it was only the dark cycle you didn't want shortened.
Just trying to take precautions and be prepared. They've come so far haha

You'll be fine. You could even have them in the dark for the weekend (just about) without too much difference. Or just lock the room they are in and tell the family to keep out of it.:) since they are ot sleeping at your house what reason would they have for going into all your rooms? OR are they the sort of family that like to check your picture frames for dust and such?

It's a large 3 bedroom apartment but it's mainly my dad. He likes to know what's going on/questions everything etc. I'm going to pull the plants and put my broccoli in there while they're here the first night. Then show them and do the ol switcheroo the next day and lock the tent if possible haha

Oh the irony, broccoli, lol.
Well good luck. Maybe if you are in your own apartment and living your own life, then it's time to tell him what you enjoy. I regret telling my old dear. She always wants a puff now, haha.

LMAO.....the trial and tribulations of growing a weed...it's tough moving 7week flowering plants about a house never mind fitting them through a loft door.....best of luck my friend. ...

:peace:Lmao they'd just get all down and sad. I don't need to put that on them. I can smoke privately. Once it's legal in my state. Then I can tell them hahaha. The plants are short so moving them isn't the issue I just don't want hermi problems or stunted growth problems. I think they'll only have to be in darkness for 24 hours then back to regular schedule. Thanks guys :peace:

I get kind of rude too.. I keep my closet open for airflow and sometimes people walk by my room and are like "whats the blueish purple light under your door?" .. I usually reply "thats an ice cold glass of mind your fucking buisnuess" it's basically known without saying that no one is allowed in my room.. I actually have a lockable door knob on my room door. I only grow 1-2 plants at a time and one of those air purifier's like ionic breeze is all I use for odor control.. It works perfect too as long as I clean the ion blades once a week it just smells like clean air... now.. when you first open the closet.. another story.. you get hit with cheesy/berry smell thats coming from auto seeds purple cheese

She is coming down in a few days.. Today is day 82

A sunny summer day with a high of 80 will push my attic up to 120. Definitely put a thermometer up there and scope it out before you put plants up there.

for real.. and if it gets humid.. the real feel will be stupid high.. heat stress IMO is one of the worst thing you can do to cannabis in flower.

you're gonna get fat nugs.. I can tell you that from the stalks alone.. wow! impressive
Really!!! Nice haha!!! This is my first go I have no clue what they'll look like at the end. The calyxs' are starting to swell. I didn't understand what they'd look like while swollen but I see it now lol. These plants are such an amazing thing to watch and grow

Last spring I had a major ice storm that knocked out power for 3 days. I just left them in the dark and didn't even have fans going since I had 0 power after my UPS ran out. They were 6 weeks in and when the power/lights came back on you wouldn't have known anything happened. They're pretty resilient and being 7 weeks in I doubt you'd have to worry about hermie issues anyhow. I'd go with whatever works for you but even if you left them in the dark all weekend and had a fan moving the air they'll be just fine.
