VETERERANS BENIFITS This is another time I recieved veteran benefits that really paid off. When I joined the Navy in 1973 the government agreed to pay me the GI Bill for 36 months. They made good on those payments and volunteerely continued paying full GI Bill for 54 months! Yeserday morning we were trying to remain calm trying to find a parking place for Disneyland's Mickey and Friends parking structure. On first attempt we came to a road block with a man turning people away. We continued around the block and came back to the same man turning people away. I ask him where are we supposed to go? He sees that I'm wearing my USS California DLGN-36 cap and asks if I'm a veteran. I say yes and he opens the rail blocking entrance. The structure was filled almost to the top of 7 floors. When it's filled all other people must go to a parking place designated for Disney parking then take a tram to Disneyland. I don't like using the trams becasue when you leave you have to wait for a long time to get back to your freaking car... In all we had a great day in part do to getting into Disneyland early instead of wasting half the day trying to get in!
