Vertical T5 Perpetual Wardrobe *idea*

I'm thinking of a mini wardrobe grow with a weekly single cola harvest.

No specifics yet just hashing out ideas.

1. Each week start three clones.
2. Each week pick the best clone (2 or 3 weeks old?) and move to the flowering section.
3. Each week harvest a single plant.

Seems easy enough?

The plants would be slightly tilted towards the light and would grow up in front of the pot above it.

My main goal is low power usage, low heat and continued harvest. Trimming a single small plant weekly would be more than enough for my personal stash.

I have no wardrobe, I have no lights, soil/hydro? not sure yet, light sealing? haven't looked into it yet, how to keep all the plants from overgrowing the wardrobe? not sure yet.

Soil is easy but messy.
Hydro is great but bothersome, I don't want all that water in my room honestly. I loved my hempy bucket grow this summer so that's a consideration.

I've searched around for a similar project but haven't had any luck. Not sure if that means its a bad idea or my search powers are broken.

I think running a nice solid perpetual system depends alot on your ability to produce a steady supply of clones.

One thing I've learned about running lots of little clone is - put them in when they're ready. Don't try to squeeze in 5 clones at the same time..put em in one by one as they're ready. It all works out fine if they go into flower a few days apart...you can still harvest on the same day. If you put em all in at the same time though, you will end up with a mess..some small stubby plants..others will be tall and branchy. Find a specific strain to work with and stick with it...strains will have a 'sweet spot' that you want to flower them at to get them all to finish at the same size and shape.

That's generally about 3" tall for my superskunk. Flowered at 3" it will produce single cola plants that are 12-16" tall. If I flower at 2", I get short stubby plants that produce half as much...if I flower at 4" the plants can end up 22" tall and start to throw out a bunch of side branches too.

check out the drbudgreengenes method if you haven't yet(high density micro sog with no veg)...and some of his copycats like thundurkle, anti and tilt over at IC. Tilt did some great work with vertical plls and single cola plants.

The problem you are going to run into with a vertical perpetual is that when they lean towards the light with such a small diameter stem and then produce they will not handle the weight of the bud well.

I thought about that, I was planing on just rotating each cup daily.
I may end up just copying drbudgreengene's method though... Still reading through his lengthy awesome threads.

This project is going to be abandoned and replaced with a new thread. I'll be switching to something less experimental for my first micro grow.

I'm going to follow @grow1620's advice and follow TheDoc's method. I'm only looking for ~15g a week so I won't need as many plants as some of his followers.

I'm currently cruising the classified for dressers to convert.

I'm going to try to get my partner to join the forum so she can play along ;)

To all threads I'm in I will somewhat abandon after this round harvest to go back underground stealth, I'll be watching and pop up from time to time.
