I was only gone for two days and was surprised by the difference in growth. Still not much to see though. I had one late bloomer and one of the Sour Cherry's (SC2) isn't looking so hot. It's the one in the front middle, the leaf tips are curling. I think it was because they were a little dehydrated. Unless you guys have other ideas....Other than that though, everything else is looking great.

Hey bro, looks pretty good at this point. Some things I noticed...Get them nails outta there. They will rust and cause problems. Also, I would wait before trans planting them at least till you have anouther leave set. Thats just my opinion but deff get them nails outta your medium. Also, whats the medium your using right now? Good luck and Ill follow along!

Peace!

Thanks west. I was going to wait til everyone got their next leaf set. That largest one just put out another leaf set but it only had 3 on it.

Stomper, what does a nail do to them specifically? I'm curious is all. They are in coco pucks now but when they get up potted they'll be in Canna Coco. Glad to have you.

Ill get pics up tonight when lights go on.

I'd use toothpics. :)
I just pulled the nails out and put the labels under them. By now I know which are which anyways because I look at them so frequently....hahah. I'm starting to wonder whether my nutrient solution is too weak or strong. I always error on the side of caution, so let's go with too strong? hah. The recommended regular schedule feeding for Canna Coco A+B is supposed to be 7.6mL to a gallon for seedlings. I only made 3 cups initially which the ratio yielded 1.4mL of A and the same for B. Then I diluted with another 3 cups of water. So half strength. I think I'll kick it down a notch on the smaller ones to see if they'll respond. Each strain has its strong performer so I don't think its a strain dependent issue yet. I'll just keep my eye on them and see what happens. I tried to get in there to take a picture of the one Sour Cherry I said had the leaf curling (it's the one center foreground).

I don't think I'm going to worry to much though. It's still putting out new growth...just sllloooooowwwww. Here's a couple more pictures of the overall scope.

That crooked ass one was the last one to sprout. I wondering what that thing is going to look like in a month. hah.

Well the growth is looking pretty good I suppose. I really do find it hard not to check on them while I'm home. I fed them a couple times with just straight pH'd water. Looks like one has started to push up its first true leaf set.
Enjoy......

Even the twisted ass one is doing better than yesterday (below)

Well upon further inspection a couple of the seedlings (the larger ones) have started to shoot roots through the bottom of the coco puck fabric. So up potting may be only a day or so away. I may stage it though as some of them are not quite there yet. I'm sure anyone could see the difference in growth rates.

Cool man. Roots are good. :) Babies looking alright.
Thanks man. It's like watching grass grow. Hah. Nah but I up potted a couple of them last night. I'm gonna do a couple more tonight. I have found its gonna be way too tight in there with 9 plants even in 1 gallons. I may need to get creative. Im also considering flipping to 12/12 to sex them then revert back to veg. I got time so I'm not in any rush just yet.

I'll get pictures up tonight.

Well I got three more potted tonight. As the others progress (which should be in a day or so) I'll get those potted as well. As you can see below I have a problem with space. I'm thinking of either hanging shelves or building them from the floor up. Being that I have a horizontal set-up right now I'm not sure how shelves are going to help during the T5 veg. Once I get the HPS vert light going that's a different story. I may just have to rotate the plants for both lighting and watering. Now I'm realizing I probably should have shot for 2 plants this go around but this is all a learning experience. Here's some shots of the "progress"....hahahah.

Almost all of them are potted. Still got one left. My previous concerns have come to fruition. I'm running out of space. Anyhow, they all look pretty healthy, small, but healthy. Let's see if I can point out which are which. Of course some of them the tags are clearly visible in the pics. hah.

They are coming along well now that they have all been potted for about a week. I finally got that last Deep Psychosis into a pot. I think I'm going to give one or two of them (the small Qrazy Quake and Deep Psychosis are the candidates) away to a friend. There's just not enough room in there for when I flip my 600 on in the next couple of weeks. Kinda disheartening after I've put the effort I have into getting them to this stage, but could be worse I suppose. The friend I'm giving one or two of them, I get to attempt to help him to set up his grow for under $250. Should be an innovation in budget growing. Hah.

Tomorrow I'll be 27. The strange things about birthdays is as you get older they seemed to loose their excitement. Well on to what this thread was created for..... If you guys seem anything I missed, feel free to point it out.

Damn man... I missed your bday. Hope it was good. :) Plants are looking nice. $250, that will be an adventure lol. Me and my buddy did a super cheap grow... used wardrobe boxes from home depot. They are extra strong and have a bar at the top you can hang the light on. Might be worth checking out.

Happy Birthday!
