I have been growing horizontal and believe that growing vert is the way to grow.I want to run 4 rooms rite now with 6 plants per room room on a perpetual harvest system with a 1000 watt on each room (because i have 4 1000,s rite now). These are some of my questions.Rite now i am running hybreds that are slightly stretchy which is bubblegummer and white widow bigbud.I like the bubblegummer because it puts out decent and is excellent smoke and i like the wwXbb because it puts out bigtime but is not as strechy as the bubblegummer(but has huge buds).I am mainly a cash cropper so what would you recommend for strains. How do idicas do with vert,i am asking because i would like to grow some chronic in the future mainly for my wife who was badly indured in a car accident a few years back. What would be proper liteing for 6 per room(is 1000 more than i need). Also i grow only in soil and will never go hydro(my people do not like the taste of hydro). As i am about to remodel what size room would be good for 6 plants. So what i am basically asking is room size,A good breed of plant that puts out heavy and what power of lite would work best.I will be signing on 2 more patiants soon which will let me grow 24 more plants so i also need to plan for expantion here.Forgive my spelling as i am 50 years old and if i have not learned to spell by now i never will, lol.Oh ya and what size pots would work best.

Look into growing vertically with a what's called a wall of weed, it's basically a vertical scrog. I'm trying it myself, I'm converting as well from soil hort to coco hempy wall of weed vertical. And I'm feeding kiss style too.

5x5 for each room. it will be hard in soil, hydro tastes the same as soil, they will not tell difference if weed is well stored

4x 1000s with six plants around each hanging bulb will work. If you prefer the taste of organic, why not try coco with organic nutes? That's how I grow: almost as fast as hydro and with the benefits of soil.

Haze varieties work best in my experience - anything that stretches and produces long, thin, sticky branches of buds. Can't go past Super Silver Haze or other haze hybrids. My best yielder hands down is a Neville's Haze cross that kicks everything else. I'm a big fan of Paradise Seeds, too - my clone is from PS stock and is related to Luc's Atomical Haze. Anything from Paradise will be above-average to outstanding - I've grown nearly all his strains and have almost never been disappointed.

Haze-type skunks also work well. I'm growing some Haze-Skunk hybrids from Mr Nice Seeds at the moment and they are doing very well in my vertical set-up. They are high-CBD varieties (they're actually from CBD Crew, which is an MNS venture), so could be nice medicine for some of your patients. I haven't tested them yet (still flowering) so can't comment on the high.

Most of the Blue strains have the potential to do well in a vertical set-up, as they like to brancch and usually grow tall. My Neville's Haze has some Blueberry in it - good combo. Haven't tried Blue Dream yet, but from what I've seen it should be ideal for vertical growing.
