Vero29 gen7 Hanging height?

good evening all, quick question. I just received a Timber VL-2 200w grow light and am wondering best distance to keep them from canopy. Their hanging over some week old seedlings at 30" and running at 100%. This is my first cob grow so any help on distance at each stage of growth would be very helpful. Thanks all.

in general there are lots of factors

-which vero gen 7 model
-how hard you are running them
-optics or bare
-age and health of your crop

a good rule of thumb for cobs without optics is height from canopy= spacing between cobs

increase this height to 1.5X to be conservative

3500k running at 100% or ~200w (100w per cob). No optics and plants are perfectly healthy 1 week old seedlings. Just looking for a general idea then I'll dial em in watching the plants. Appreciate it.

That timber kit looks similar to my diy kit... except, far superior build quality.

I've got twin Vero 29C. Each driven up to 100w. With a 1400mA driver.
Maybe yours are on par?

They're a damn good light. Keep em well over a foot above canopy. And maybe dont run them full tilt too soon.
Thanks again man, I'm excited. I've had some nice runs using cheap blurple LEDs but the density was never there. Hoping these grow rocks! Thanks again.

Here's round 3 done under those same lights. I think it's a Shiva Shanti 1. I just call her Gran cos she got ran twice and has/had clones. Got bang on 4Oz from rougly 1.6 sq ft area. Screenshot_2017-12-06-12-55-21.jpg
