Vape Pen Recommendation?

Greetings!
Never used a vape pen and know absolutely nothing about them.
Made some bubble hash and when looking for ways to smoke it, found this in an old thread:

i have now found THE best way to smoke hash. this BYFAR beats out all the ways ive tried so far and i did hot knive it and pipe and bong and lit on fire in a jar with straw, i even mixed with weed in joints and bowls but vape @ 350 was heaven on earth. FULL big smoke hits like a bong, i swear. this couldnt be vapor. i dont know but whatever it has been in the vape for about 20 or so hits and ready for more. it seems to last an extremely long time this way."

Make honey oil and mix it with PG in your regular vape pen or buy a vaporizer for bud and hash (or oil I suppose)
Those pens are junk. Do not buy. Get a Volcano if you are serious about vaping bud or hash ; or buy a good digital vape mod box or similar and follow my first suggestion.

As it turns out, the volcano is what he was using and filling bags he said but that thing costs far more than i care to spend on a smoking accessory.
Will ask google where to find a digital vape mod box... (whatever that is)

a handheld vape unit with temp controls, usually digital, but made for nicotine vaping so coil choice and purity of the source material will affect your experience. but you cant vape solids in these.

I use a o.pen I love it and the cartridges with 510 threads fit it perfectly. Not to mention life time warranty

now i have hash & was looking for an effective way to smoke it.
simply producing the hash was more work than my lazy ass likes to do so i care nothing about breaking it down any further into oil, rosin or whatever it is.

In my opinion so far, the whole process is more trouble than its worth. just hate to waste it.
The buds are almost as potent... 1-2 hits is all ya need and 3-4 is all ya want.

The Volcano is way overpriced in my opinion.
Note that using a pen for concentrates and vaporizing are very different from each other. Of course, unless you specifically buy a vape pen which is for weed, not concentrates, and has a compartment to put your weed that you are vaping.
If you want a good pen for smoking wax and concentrates. Look for best reviews on pens for concentrates.
There are different kinds of vape units out there. You have the direct extraction (Heat gun with temp control) and bag extraction (plastic bag like the Volcano). Also, those little wooden box with a whip (useless).
Remember, if you can see any smoke in the bag, or as you exhale, it is no longer vaporizing, it is at that point you are smoking burning plant matter that is the same thing as if you placed it on a screen and lit with a flame. True vapor is a very specific temp with no smoke, Completely clear when you exhale.

This sounds good but will it work with weed and hash?
@neef tells me 350 degrees seems to be the sweet spot for hash but is a bit low for flowers. do they make these types with the proper/select-able temps for weed and hash?

The o.pen is strictly for concentrates but yes the latest pen can change different power levels

Here is a tip. Use just your 220 or 180 micron bag for making dry ice hash. Quick easy and the least mess. Youtube it.

The keif i get from that i press into bricks for storage but you dont have too. Anyway, use the keif mixed with flower in a good flower vape like the Pax 2 or Davinci. I use a Pax 2. Put a layer of crushed bud i the chamber, put a little keif next. Then a little more bud. And there ya go... a hash sandwich in the vape pen...

Anything with an atomizer. They last way longer and taste way better than coils. The pens that use coils will probably be phased out sooner rather than later.

That Pax is a pretty bad ass rig, but man it burns the hell outta my throat after a little bit. Very cool rig though.

I have been getting pre loaded oil cartridges for the last few months and love the convenience and stealth. Have you tried any cartridges from Brass Knuckles?

I have not. I sip on my PAX2 and when I feel my throat getting warm I stop my draw and it works. I also have the Grasshopper (fucking amazing portable vaporizer) and it took about two weeks to figure out how to hit it as it is the most powerful portable on the market but once you get it down its a great thing!!!!!!!!!

Volcano is by far the best vape machine ever made! The O.G. and R pens are affordable and work well for concentrates only though.

Recently I have been getting (distillate extract hash oil pre-loaded cartridges) pens and have used flowers in a month or so. Since in Denver I get Craft710's Sesh brand of pens and using the distillate process for concentrating cannabis to an oil is the purest and strongest and right now I am vaping on a pen of Banana Kush that is 95%+ THC
