Utilizing Green Light

Long story short, If I wanted to grow in my room.... could I use green light bulbs (home depot CFLs..gooogle em) to avoid waking my flowering ladies? If so... which spectrum or type of green light do I need to find. I know they make little green headlights/flashlights to tend to plants when its dark hours, I just wanted to apply that theory to the lights in my room.

(obviously not trying to grow with green lights... just trying to find a way to shead light into the room that wont affect the ladies)

Ideas, facts, and advice needed. Rep, love, and support offered in return :weed:

Ed Rosenthal's book, Marijauna Grower's Handbook, indicates that this is true. I do not have personal experience with this though. I would love to hear from someone that has.
