using expensive fertalizers is a waste of time and money + makes YOU look like a fool!

Miracle gro and alaska fish fert from walmart. Light on the miraclegro and heavy on the alaska. No burns. Special nutes are more likely to burn than the fish ferts.

I think the point is that Monsanto is evil and so are any company that "collaborates" with them.
Monsanto is a fine company. I also believe GMO is a GREAT thing. It will enable us to feed the world safely. Damn luddite stoners need to pull their head out of their ass.

you are ignorant to the fact farmers are sick of the same old gmo seeds . BUT
"you cannot grow what they wont sell you " is a common phrase ...
the prices of non gmo stock cannot compete YET . when gmo lableing goesinto effect welll ... we will see who is the smart one ..

Explain why normal seeds can't do that.

Have you tried to grow GMO seeds? Grow a few and see what happens. Matter of fact I'll grow a few in my garden and show you.

Yea you can buy all those seeds you want. Try to save them and grow them year after year.

If you had a clue about botany and genetics you would understand why GMO will end up killing this earth.

Tell me to pull my head out if my ass.

Listen here, and listen good. The earth has been here long, long, long before we started tinkering with things.

Let's see, in the last 100 years we have caused global warming. We have destroyed untold habits and cause the extinction of untold numbers of animals.

We are on the verge of killing bees off.

We have poisoned water supplies.

Everything in nature that man has tried to make better has done nothing but destroy it.

Go ahead, keep spraying pesticides. Keep growing GMO SK you can lace the ground with herbicide. Go ahead and poison the soil with salts.

I say it is you with your head up your ass.

You know what I say is true.

I say you said that to just get a rise out of me. Trolling.

Its fine. I speak truth so it doesn't bother me.

Use hydroponics, stay away from secret sauces, use a nitrate nitrogen based fertilizer with a good NPK ratio. Many will work. Lots of light always helps.

Nothing against soil, I like it, but it just doesn't yield the same indoors. Anyone can grow a 1 lb plant indoors in soil, but what about 2 or 3 or 5 ? I've never even seen pics of one.

I can't say I have seen a hydro plant yield 5 pounds indoors biggest I heard of was 26 ounces I believe but it was in soil indoors. But honestly what is the point growing a tree indoors? It just makes no sense when you can yield much better per wattage use indoors if they are smaller plants not too mention you save a whole lot of electricity on vegging.

A couple reasons. Such as plant count, overall manageability, and ease. There isn't a waste of electricity in veg, you can grow many plants under little light or a large light on a light mover. You can also stage many plants in veg, only flowering a small amount.

Seems hard to believe, but if you accounted for amount of plants, veg light for a long time, and yield, you would come out ahead.

IMHO, there's a sweet spot for overall yield and effort, and it requires people to grow plants larger than they normally do.

Or a lot smaller and SOG only harvesting main cola, but that gets the plant count way too high in these parts.

Plant counts I agree with but power consumption is definitely higher no matter how you slice it. A 2 pound plant will take about 2 months veg or so. I don't worry much about plant counts though I just try to stay under 99 cause of the DEA.

Plant count limits.

Have been growing with Jacks and coco for awhile now and have been pretty happy.. Been needing to use more Epsom than I would really like, but it was kind of expected (growing in coco under led) and have been growing nice buds for the cheap... A couple of years ago before I ordered my big bag of Jacks I spent about a half hour or so sending out some emails to a couple handfuls of companies explaining how I no longer wished to support AN and was open to trying samples. Of course a few ignored me, a couple sent me discount offers but I also received a few packages with a couple half pints and a couple were even generous enough to send liters of their full lines.

Long story short even though its only been one full harvest from start to finish, GenHydro cocotek seems to be a clear winner. I wound up only using the 2 part (A+B grow/bloom) the whole way through without having to add any mg or sulfur. I told myself I would never again buy liquid ferts after switching to Jacks, but for $120 (including shipping) I got a gallon of each of the 2 parts (4 gal total) and if the results stay the same I'm going to consider it money well spent...

I was also happy with the dynagro products (in particular their mag-pro which is way more than just mag) but had to give the edge to GH because their cocotek formula has the Ca, MG, and S levels that I need growing in coco.
Really? I've seen numerous examples of how Dyna Gro has the right amount of everything in the Foliage Pro and Protekt to grow mosters in coco. I never had any problems with cal or mag just running dyna gro grow and protekt in coco hempies.
